Monte would be lying if she said she wasn't enjoying the little alone time she was spending with the personification of Japan. She wouldn't admit it, but he had grown on her after all these years, having a cute crush on him even when she was just a little city. But now wasn't the time to gush about having a little crush on such a strong, closed off country.

Monte sighed softly as she peeked through the bushes and looked toward the military green of cloth tents. The flag of red, white and blue flapped in the sky with pride, she observed with a raised eyebrow. "Well, we found the American's place. Which means the others have to nearby right?" She whispered, shifting slightly to push her black, square rimmed glasses up the bridge of her nose with the tip of her index finger. Japan was on his stomach next to her, eyes narrowing to try seeing if anyone was around, but no one was in sight.

"Hai. I wonder where they are...Come on, Monte, we need to get moving. Mr. Germany won't like it if we're late, he will most likely become troubled." He stood up, helping the brunette to her feet before taking the lead. About to follow him, the itailan felt a tug on the skirt of her dress. Looking down at the fabric, she found herself tangled on the thorn of the bush. Her fingers became occupied with getting free, she wasn't able to hear the steps and rustles all around her.

When she was finally free from the branch, she turned to look for Japan. But, she was met with a crashing pain against her cheek, sending her to the ground. Her eyes peeked open to see icy blue eyes before her world went black.
