I didn't know what had happened to me. I tried to remember what had happened, when suddenly the memory came crashing down. I was walking with my father, we were following the dirt path in the forest which was gloomy and damp. "Christi?" my dad's voice broke the silence, I looked up at him, his blue eyes were wide and fixed on the path in front of us. I looked away and to the path in front. I saw him, his eyes were a light blue and his top and bottom canine teeth were fangs. It suddenly became clear to me, he was a vampire.

I woke up startled gasping for breath, I looked around at my surroundings. I was on a loveseat, and a fireplace to my left. I heard footsteps coming my way "You have awakened" a deep soft voice said startling me. "Didn't mean to startle you" the voice said. I got off the loveseat and backed away "Stay away from me" I warned I was pressed up against a wall. "You know what I am?" he asked "Yes, you're a vampire" I spitted the word. He looked at me hard "when you saw me, you passed out, and I'm sorry" he hesitated for a minute then spoke. "I was so hungry that I fed off of you, then I fed you my blood, you stayed alive long enough for my blood to reach your core" he explained. I realized that he was saying that he turned me into what he was "You turned me into a vampire" I said in a small voice. "On my behalf, your father wanted me too." I waited for him to continue, he didn't notice about a minute after, "your father is in the room behind the door". He pointed to the door to my right, I walked to the door and opened it slowly, my dad was drinking a cup of water. "Dad?" I said my voice cracking a little, he looked up at me "Christi, how are you?" my father asked. I couldn't concentrate on anything, the lights were dimmed, but the only thing I could concentrate on was the exposed part of his neck. I looked away but he caught on "You need blood" he said as a matter of fact. ¨No I don't" I lied but the truth was I couldn stop thinking about blood. I started to ask but my dad beat me to it. It wasn't a question it was everything I needed to know what had happened. "Christi, when he fed off you, I didn't know what to do, but as soon as he stopped I asked him to turn you, Alex-" I cut him off from his babbling explanation "Who is Alex, is he that guy in the room that I left like a second ago?" I asked curious.

"Yes, that is my name" the stranger named Alex said "You have a lot of explaining to do!" I said furious at Alex, I didn't know why I snapped at him. "Sorry" I whispered he smiled "It's alright, I understand you are still going through the transformation." He was so understanding I felt bad that I snapped at him "You are going to be like that until you drink human blood, and when you do it will be weird but your feelings will be under control." he explained he went to his freezer I guessed , he pulled a plastic bag, that I guessed was filled with blood. I was so hungry, he gave me it, I turned around, Alexander understand that I wanted privacy and lead my dad to the room where I left. I took a deep breathe and noticed that there was a cap on the bag, I took it off nice and slowly and lifted the bag to my lips and began taking long controlled sips. The blood flowed down my throat, It felt like silk gliding against my throat. Alex came in with my dad, I took my mouth away from the plastic bag, they both smiled. "How are supporting this dad?" He shook his head "It was rather this or let you die" I looked at him and realized a little too late that he was doing this for me. I smiled and went into his arms. "Christi?" Alex called my name in question, I pulled away "yes?" he looked at me, but it was more like a stare, "Do you feel any pain in your upper gums?" It was like a cue, the pain was bearable and I took deep breaths, Alex patted and rubbed my shoulder in a relaxing gesture. I looked at him and apparently my eyes were gold and that meant that I had just completed the change. He looked at my teeth I felt them carefully with my tongue, my teeth felt like they extended. Alex and my dad were smiling as bright as they could.

I still remember that memory a-hundred-and-seventy years ago. Now I was on a bench-seat on a train. It was October 16, 2005 I had just left New Jersey. I wouldn't come back in a long time, I had to keep moving because if I stay too long people would know that I wasn't human, I was a vampire.
