You wondered why Jun was suddenly all silent throughout the day. Not that comfortable silence you had grown fond of, but those awkward silences wherein he almost never acknowledge that you were there, beside him, worrying about the fact that something could be wrong and he was not telling you a word.

A sigh escaped your lips as you eyed Jun on the sofa. His eyes were closed and the volumes of his earphones were on maximum, as you can hear the faint sound of the song he was listening to.

Placing your palms gently on his knee, you slightly shook it and he popped a lazy eye open and groaned under his breath.

"Jun, is there something bothering you?" You squeaked out; Jun's gaze making you feel little, when it used to be the soft ones you'd look at whenever you were tired or have had a bad day.

He sighed and took of his earphones, facing you.

Your palms started sweating and your heart thumped in your chest loudly, as if it was going to come out soon. You could sense that something bad was about to happen but, you tried to pry off all the negative thoughts and just thought that maybe, just maybe, he'll surprise you with a proposal. It's not bad to be a bit optimistic, right?

He bit his lip and averted his gaze somewhere. "I've been thinking," He started. The waterfalls on your eyes were starting to make their way to the cliff. "Do you think we were still the same as before?"

No answer.

"I... The past few days, I've been thinking about all of this and," He paused for a moment, hesitating on speaking further more. "I think... I think my feelings faded," He looked down and added moist to his lips.

The waterfalls on the verge of the cliff finally fell and you cannot do anything to calm yourself down. You had braced yourself about this; you knew this was going to happen sooner.

The world just won't stop revolving does it? And sometimes, you wished that it had stopped just for a while long, enough for you to enjoy a midsummer night's dream.

You poked the insides of your cheek with your tongue, looking down and poured the words out of your mouth. "Not that I can do anything about it. It's okay, Jun. Seasons change and the world keeps on spinning around."
