The first thing Liam noticed when he woke up was that he was in was different room than the one he usually woke up in. Waking up with a start, the brunette lay dead still as he tried to recall how he ended up in a strange room unlike his own. He felt himself relax as he recollected the events of the day before and remembered where he was.

The other thing he noticed was that he was sleeping in the same bed as his new friend Zayn. Somehow over the night, the two had closed the space between them so that the two were face to face, arms draped over the other as if they were hugging each other. The brunette also realized he was very much naked, although that wasn’t exactly new for him. The other boy was completely dressed in his sleep attire anyways, but Liam didn’t want any strange looks or questions regarding their compromising position, so he decided to get up.

After putting on a pair of shorts to cover himself up, the brunette attempted to rouse the other boy for breakfast. Yet no matter how much prodding, poking, and shaking he inflicted upon the black haired boy, Zayn wouldn’t get up. Liam tried talking to him, reasoning that it was a school day and he would need to get up anyways, but the black haired boy refused to react and remained dead asleep.

Giving up on trying to wake the other boy, Liam decided to go out for some breakfast. He realized he woke up earlier than he should have, and since no one was up yet, concluded that it would be a good idea to get breakfast for everyone.  Remembering Harry and Louis’ directions, he jogged to a local bakery for some pastries and tea for everybody. By the time he got back, Harry and Louis were up and ready to go to school, with a very bedraggled Niall just waking up.

Although thankful for the food, Harry and Louis told Liam that all meals from the school were free, and that was where all the boys usually went for breakfast. They only had to pay for their own food during the weekend. It was routine for all students to get to school early for their breakfast, and to return there for dinner after school ended. Since they didn’t have to leave early for breakfast now, the four boys decided to take their time eating in the kitchen.

Realizing Zayn still hadn’t woken up, Liam questioned the others if he should go get him.

“Nah, it’s impossible to wake him up any earlier than ten minutes before he has to go. That’s why usually it’s only me, Louis, and Niall who go to get breakfast. Zayn comes ambling in to school just as the bell rings.” The curly haired boy replied.

Furrowing his eyebrows, the brunette found himself worrying over the dark haired boy’s health. “That can’t be healthy, if he’s always skipping breakfast like that.”

“It’s okay, that just means I get to eat Zayn’s portion,” Niall said, as he stuffed Zayn’s share of pastries into his mouth. Liam reminded himself to always get more food for him than the others so he could avoid the blonde stealing other people’s food in the future.

Putting one of his croissants to the side to give to Zayn later, Liam told the others to go ahead as they left for school. He still needed to wake up his roommate and give him his breakfast. Zayn, after all, was his guide, and he needed him to show him around the school to get to his classes.

“Just tickle him around the neck area, he spazzes out whenever you try to touch him there!” Louis advised.

True to his words, Liam found a quick reaction from Zayn as he lightly touched the other boy’s neck. The brunette thanked his quick reflexes as he quickly dodged the dark eyed boy’s flailing arm. Waking up with a start, Zayn looked around for the one who woke him up so abruptly. Seeing that it was Liam, the teen gave the brunette a mock look of indignation as he attempted to get back to sleep, pulling his blanket over his head.
