Holly
"Hey mom, I'm back home in Canada." I said, excitedly through the phone.
"That's great, honey! Well, it's unfortunate that you can't stay with us at home but I'm so glad you're here!" My mom said through the phone.
"Yeah." I chuckled. "Hey mom, listen. It's pretty late at night and you better get some sleep. I'll just get an uber to my hotel and I'll call you in the morning, okay?" I said as I carried my luggage on the way to the airport's exit.
"Okay, honey. Get some rest too. Good bye, I love you."
"Bye mom. Love you too." I said then hung up.
I walk to the exit, carrying my luggage. I stood outside as I call for an uber. After a couple of minutes, my uber arrived as I stepped into the car and waited till I reached my destination.
It's great that the time difference between Canada and Los Angeles are just three hours. It makes it easier for me to communicate with Wyatt and the others.
I look around and notice the familiar sightings of Canada. I've lived here my whole life and I've had plenty of wonderful memories. It feels great to be back home but of course, there's a mix of sadness to it.
Tomorrow, I will be meeting the cast members of the new film we're shooting which is pretty exciting because I love meeting new people. Then in a couple of days, we will be doing an overview of the script.
The car pulls up in front of the hotel as I got out of the car and thanked the driver. I carried my luggage with me to the entrance then checked in into the front desk.
After I checked into the front desk, I walked into the elevator then pressed the 7th floor. After a couple of seconds, the elevator door opens and I walked down the hallway.
As soon as I got in, I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes. The jet lag is starting to kick in which is terrible because who likes jet lags? I sighed and held my phone up to my face.
I had a lot of texts from the group chat which is mostly about them telling me that they miss me and that it's not the same without me. I really miss them too because I only got to spend time with them in a short period of time.
I decided to text Wyatt and just let them know that I'm already here back home in Canada.
Me: Hey, noodle. I'm already back here in good ol' Canada. I just got to my hotel room.
I put down my phone beside me as I wait for a while until I see the three dots which indicates that he's typing. I sigh in relief that he's still awake because it's really late at night.
I hear my phone ding from beside me. I grab it and checked to see that I have a new message from Wyatt.
Wyatt: Facetime me.
I click the face time button as I wait for him to answer the call. I didn't even bother to sit up because I don't really care about what I look like right now. He has already seen me at my worst which is basically whenever it's that time of the month so I'm pretty sure he won't judge me by my physical appearance.
His face pops up on the screen as I smile at him widely. He flashes me a small and cute smile which made me feel all bubbly inside. His hair is ruffled and messy which made him look a million times more a adorable.
