1. Please be literate. No text talk or terrible grammar. Mistakes are understandable, but let's be reasonable.
2. No god-modding. No controlling someone else's character.
3. No R-rated romance, please. If you must, do it privately.
4. Replies should be about 300 characters MINIMUM. It's practically impossible to work off of less. No one-liners, I beg of you. Though I'm all about quality over quantity, it can be very hard to work off of replies that don't provide at least a little detail.
5. Cursing is fine, but please censor it, since Wattpad drives me crazy with the way it reports comments. It looks so messy.
6. Killing characters is acceptable, since I hate limiting your actions, and risk makes things fun...but be reasonable about it. This is an academy, not a slasher film. Gods can't be killed.
7. You may play as many characters as you wish, however, once we get to forms I will be choosing which are accepted. If your character is unoriginal, a Mary Sue, or doesn't work in some other way, I will ask you to fix it before you are accepted.
8. Gods. Yes, some of you will be playing them. The roles of the gods are not first come, first serve; for instance if someone has already applied for Blood, and that's the one you wanted, you can still submit a form. I'll be choosing the one that's my favourite. Only four people will be selected, since there are four gods (probably three to be honest, since I think I really want to play Masks).
Playing the gods is a little different from playing a student; they already have names and traits that you will need to incorporate into your forms, which I'll talk about in a later section. However, that doesn't mean you can't still be creative!
The role of a god comes with something akin to admin status; you will have a great deal of influence in the direction the roleplay takes (setting tests and bestowing magic) and thus we'll be in contact a lot. You're going to have a lot of creative freedom, but I'll still need you to just run things by me.9. The setting is modern day, but as mentioned above, there is a degree of lore to this roleplay: specifically, on the gods and on the bloodlines (what kind of mythical creature your character is descended from). The information you need for both of these will be provided in a later section. It's absolutely vital that you read this, and stay as true to it as possible; don't make up different gods, or give your character a bloodline that isn't listed. Think of the lore as an inspiration rather than a limitation- take it and run with it!
9. Also, since you are being accepted based upon the forms you turn in, PLEASE be true to them. Obviously character development is wonderful, but don't turn in a form for a person with one trait and have them behaving completely different in the actual roleplay.
10. Private message me about plot twists or any major ideas. I love them, and love seeing other people's minds at work, but I need to make sure they fit.
