These are the eight remaining mythical bloodlines (suggestion for others are welcome- I might add more). There are very few full-blooded or even half-blooded creatures left; most have been greatly diluted, but there are still subtle physical marks that can distinguish them, and even emotional traits left over.

Not all of the bloodlines remained pure; many were crossed, and it is possible to find a student with heritage of two or even three different creatures (for instance, part vampire and part mermaid).

Angels

Though not all, many angel descendants still have small scars upon their shoulder blades where wings would have grown, though none have actual wings. They are also often delicately built and light-boned.

They have an affinity for music and flight, and are often closely connected to the element of air.

As Guardian Angels were the best at interbreeding, many of angelic descent will have a protective nature (even so far as territorial).

Elves

Elves

Those of elvish blood are physically distinguished by their slightly pointed ears, and often more angular and slanted features.

Since elves were creatures of the forest, their descendants usually have an affinity for nature. Elves also were great lovers of knowledge, and thus many who come from the elf bloodlines are more logical and lovers of higher arts.

Reclusive as the elves were, elf descendants are prone to shyness and introversion, or even cold and aloofness.

Goblins

Goblins were underground dwellers, living deep in caves and tunnels, and thus had perfect night vision, which manifested in large, pupil-less, glowing eyes. Their descendants have the echoes of this; their eyes are usually large and pale, and they might have a green or greyish tint to their skin.

Many goblins were miners and so their descendants have an affinity for valuable metals and gems (often able to distinguish fakes easily), and also are more comfortable in darkness.
