Chapter 55

"Hello?" I answered.

"Maria! I need your help with something!" Kyle replied practically sounding frustrated.

"What do you need help with?" I questioned.

"So, I just saw this person at the coffee shop near our school andddd.." he paused for a slight second. "It was love at first sight! It had to be!" he exclaimed through the phone.

"Let me guess, you want me to talk to the person for you?" I questioned with a small smile, knowing damn well Kyle wants me to.

"Yes, please!" he replied with a happy tone.

"Alright, when do you want me to?" I asked followed by a soft chuckle.

"Is tomorrow okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, it's fine. I'll let Hunter know." I replied.

"Wait.. Hunter's going with us?" he questioned not liking the sound of it.

"No, I was just gonna tell him I'm gonna help you with something. In case he decided to make last minute plans with me." I replied.

"Ohhhhh. Okay. Thanks again, I'll see you tomorrow!" he replied happily.

"No problem, see ya tomorrow Ky!" I replied with the same tone before hanging up.

Basically, I was on the phone with Hunter and told him everything about what happened with Kyle and he was perfectly okay with it. We stayed on the phone till we both fell asleep, though I already know I was the first to sleep.

The day began and ended it how it usually began, which most of you probably know by now. If not, class, work, talk with friends, then go home. Just your casual day, then when school ended I met with Kyle.

"You said coffee shop near the school, right?" I questioned walking over to him at the front of the school.

"Yeah, are you okay with walking?" he asked.

"Yeah, I need to be more active anyway." I replied chuckling as he started walking, and I followed walking beside him.

When we got in there, Kyle looked around the cafe looking for a certain someone and when he found that someone, he perked up.

"Right there!" he whispered loudly. "The one next to the cashier making drinks." he added.

"The guy with dark hair?" I questioned as he looked at me with a smile and nodded.

"I need your help talking to him, and by that.. I mean find out if he's gay or not." he replied.

"Ooh, okay. I gotchu." I replied about to walk away until Ky stopped me.

"Don't make it obvious though, and can you get me a drink too?" he asked taking money from his pocket and handing it to me.

"No worries, I won't." I chuckled before taking the money from him and walking to the line waiting to order.

While waiting, the cashier and coffee maker switched spots so the guy Ky liked was the person who took my order.

"What can I get for you?" the guy asked.

"I'll get a Cappuccino, and for my friend he'll have--" I was cut off by the cashier guy.

"That guy over there is a friend of yours?" he questioned gesturing towards Ky with an eyebrow before looking back at me.
