You're Mine

Chapter 10

It was decided, Maria was staying at my house. Once we made it to my place, I helped her get out of the passenger's seat. I took one of her arms and wrapped it around my neck while grabbing her waist to help her stand.

"I have t-two feet, I can walk on my own." she said drunkly.

"Alright, you said it not me." I replied and let her go slowly as she fell back on the seat.

"Don't just stand there, help me up douchebag." Maria replied looking up at me, though I could tell it was more like a glare.

"Ah, now you need help." I chuckled softly rewrapping her arm around my neck and holding her waist with my other free hand.

I quickly closed the door before holding her again and locked my car before I started walking with her to my house. I took out the house keys and unlocked the door heading inside with her and closing and locking it once we were both inside the house.

I made my way to the couch and gently placed her down where she laid down looking up at me.

"I'm gonna get you some water." I said walking to the kitchen.

MARIA'S POV:

Ugh, Jason was so annoying earlier. I'm DRUNK. Of course I needed help! But, I can't help but find his chuckle so cute. I don't know, maybe it's just the drunkness getting to me.. If that's even a word.

"Here, drink your water." Jason said handing me it as I just eyed it.

"Don't worry, I didn't do anything to it if that's what you were thinking." he added.

I took the water and took small sips before putting the cup down.

"Thank you." I said softly not looking at him.

"No need, are you feeling any better?" he asked.

"Yeah.. Just a little." I replied.

Silence.

"You're gonna be sleeping in my room, I'll go layout some comfy clothes for you to sleep in." Jason said with a smile walking upstairs.

"Shouldn't I be coming upstairs with you?!" I yelled as he walked up the stairs.

"I mean, if you'd like to see me change as well then go ahead!" he yelled back.

"Never mind, I'm good!" I yelled back and heard him laugh as I laid back on the couch.

5 minutes later, he eventually came back downstairs to tell me it was all set. After that, I stood up and went up to his room.

Jason's room was surprisingly neat and organized, definitely not what I thought it was gonna seem like. He stood outside the door while I was in the room changing into his baggy t-shirt and basketball shorts.

"Are you done yet?" he asked while knocking on the door.

"Yeah, I'm done." I replied as he opened the door and scanned me up and down.

"Wow, you look.. adorable." he replied.

"Thanks." I replied with a small smile while striking a cute pose which made him chuckle.

"Well, if you need me Mari I'm gonna be downstairs. Just call me if you need anything." he said with a smile.

"Huh? Where are you gonna sleep?" I asked looking at him blinking a bit.

"Downstairs on the couch." he replied. "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. I'll be there the whole time." he added with a smile.

"You might as well sleep on the floor beside the bed for me to believe that." I replied.

"I can do that too," he said walking over to his closet getting a blanket and setting it on the floor then a pillow on top of it and a small blanket.

I sat on his bed on my knees watching as he prepared his spot on the floor.

"Alright, I'm beside you now." Jason said looking over at me. "Are you ready to sleep now?" he asked as I nodded with a small smile.

You don't need to know the rest, we basically just both went to sleep. I surprisingly fell asleep first, actually it's not that surprising.. hehe.
