"The new guy arriving here has to do with you because, when he first came here, he was--" Rose was cut off.

"Maria, it's so nice to see you again." a male with dark auburn hair and dark brown eyes greeted with a smile standing beside Hunter.

"He's standing behind me, isn't he?" Rose asked as I pursed my lips and nodded as she turned around.

"But, anyways. Ky! It's been awhile!" I greeted back walking over to him and giving him a hug.

"It definitely has. I haven't heard from you since you moved." he replied chuckling as he hugging me back.

"Yeah, sorry about that." I replied pulling away from the hug.

Rose & Hunter stood side by side looking at us with their arms crossed.

"This is my childhood friend, Kyle. Ky for short." I introduced him to the two. "And these two are Rose and Hunter." I introduced the two to him.

"Also, Maria & I are the original duo. To whomever is Maria's best friend here." he replied with a smile.

"That would be me." Hunter replied raising his hand with a bland look.

"Well, aren't you brave mentioning it?" Kyle replied with his arms crossed as he gave Hunter a devilish smile.

"Oh, shut up. You're not gonna do anything, and even if you had planned to I wouldn't let you." I replied looking at him with an eyebrow raised and my arms crossed.

Hunter just eyed both Kyle and I before clearing his throat to speak.

"Anyways. I was wondering if you were busy after school, maybe you'd like to go to an archery place with me?" Hunter asked with a small smile.

"Sure, I'd love too!" I replied with a smile looking at Hunter. "Can Kyle come with us?" I asked looking back at him keeping the same smile on my face.

"Uh, err.. if he wants to go." Hunter replied as I looked back at Kyle waiting for a reply.

"I don't see why not, is it just gonna be us three?" Kyle asked.

"No, Rose is coming as well." Hunter replied.

Then the bell rang.

"Okay, where should I meet you guys after school?" Kyle asked.

"At the front." Rose replied.

"Okay, thanks. Also, Mari, can you show me to my next class?" Kyle asked as I nodded.

"We'll see you guys later!" I said waving to Hunter & Rose who ended up walking to class together.

ROSE'S POV:

"You know, I don't really remember you asking me if I wanted to go." I murmured.

"Right. Do you want to go?" Hunter asked.

"That all depends as to why you want me too," I replied looking up at Hunter with a smile.

"I get the feeling.. if Kyle's going, I may be third wheeling with them. And if I am, it'd be nice to have someone to talk to." he replied modestly.
