Joshua POV

This morning, before anyone else woke up, I had applied the concealer onto my neck, confident that nobody would notice anything. I'm just glad Jeonghan has a similar skin tone to mine, otherwise, it would've stood out just as much as the marks. I stared at myself in the mirror. Well, I had obviously picked an anime that was 1 or 2 seasons too long. My eyes had dark bags under them. But that didn't really matter. It always happened lol. Why am I always making stupid decisions? No wonder I lead such a bad life.

Leaving a note to tell the rest of the group I'd gone down to breakfast, grabbing my bag, I walked down to the cafeteria, they were all still sleeping. I figured out a while ago that if you go early, you get to choose all the best stuff. And, it's not as crowded. I quickly made my way down the stairs, humming along to a random tune I just thought up.

"Eek!" I squeaked as I suddenly felt someone's teeth latch onto my neck. I turned to slap the person, only to realise that it was the one and only Hansol Vernon Chwe. Well, who else could it be? He seemed to be the only person I knew who would ever approach me like that. "Bleh. Are you wearing make-up or thomething?" He lisped, tongue covered with face powder. Well duh. Why wouldn't I? There is no way I'm letting anyone see the hickeys. "Umm yeah, I didn't want anyone to see, well, ....you know!" He wrapped his arms around my waist, "Yeah, I know." He seemed to refuse to let go of my waist, because overtime I attempted to move away slightly, his grip tightened. So in the end, we walked down to the breakfast that way. In my head I was glad that we just happened to be the first students here, the cafeteria ladies never really seem to pay attention to anything else other than their job, their lumbering, robotic movements make me wonder if they are really human or not.

I chose whatever looked good and familiar to me. I picked up a piece of toast, slapped on some raspberry jam and put some sliced bananas and strawberries on it because why not. I filled a glass of milk and put a handful of cereal in it. I also grabbed an apple before I sat down at a random table, only to be followed by Hansol who decided to stick to my side, literally. There was no space between us. "Interesting breakfast you have there." He grinned. I bit the inside of my cheek, did he mean that in  good way, or a bad way? I tried to pick out the right words to say, but accidentally started to speak Japanese. "A-Arigato." I slapped myself hard, dammit that was so stupid. Now Hansol will think I'm some sort of weirdo or show-off or something. Dammit. "Oh you speak Japanese? Niicee!!!! I hardly know anything though.I bet its from all that anime you watch." I blushed. "S-sorry. I start speaking random languages when I'm nervous." His eyebrows went up. "That made you nervous? Wow, I must make such a big impact on you. Are you usually this shy and jumpy?" My face reddened. "Awww, is little Joshie blushing now?" He teased. Please stop talking, you're going to make my heart blow up. I picked up my apple, trying to take my mind off things. Hansol seemed to get the idea and started to eat his breakfast too, which was also Western-style, probably because he came from New York. I watched as he wolfed down his pancakes and slugged down his orange juice. I tossed the apple core into the trash bin and started on my sandwich thing. I like to make food combinations, its boring to just stick to one taste everyday, and It takes too much time to eat strawberries, bananas, and bread with jam at a time so I just prefer to smash it all together. The bowls would mean too much milk so I just decided that this way was better, especially when I used to live by myself in America, it would also mean one less piece thing to clean. Its not as if I hate washing the dishes, its just that I want to minimise the amount of water I use.
