Chapter Twelve

The next day.......
Alia's POV
I wake up to my phone ringing.
"Hi darling." A familiar voice says.
"Varun! I miss you so much!" I say.
"I miss you too. How's Shraddha and Sid?" He asks.
"Well yesterday.....we found out that Shraddha's pregnant."
"Omg! Is she ok?" He questions.
"She hasn't been herself after hearing the news.  She hasn't uttered one single word since we got home from the hospital. She was worrying most of the night."
"Ok you go take care of her I'll call you later. Love you." He says.
"Love you too." I end the call.
I go to Shraddha's room to see if she's okay, as I walk in and see no sign of her. I go to the bathroom and knock on the door. "Shraddha are you in there?" I get no reply.
My heart starts beating rapidly I check the whole apartment and Shraddha isn't anywhere. Her closets empty in her room and her suitcases are gone! I call her on her phone but it goes straight to voicemail.
I was just about to call Kriti but I see Sidharth walk in.

Sidharth's POV
Varun called me and told me that Shraddha went to the hospital yesterday and found out she's pregnant! How can she not tell me?!
I walk into Shraddha and Alia's apartment as I have a spare key and see Alia.
"Where's Shraddha?" I ask.
"Sidharth-" she begins but I cut her off.
"Varun told me that she's pregnant. How can you guys not tell me?!" I query.
"Sidharth she hasn't been talking to any one not even to me after she found out about her pregnancy. She was worrying how to face you as that's the last thing she said in the hospital. This morning I woke up and found her gone. We need to find her Sidharth!" She cries.
"But why would she run away?" I ask.
"I think she was worried you wouldn't be happy about the baby." I say.
"I can't believe it! I can't believe I've made her feel insecure! I did say that I wasn't thinking about kids at the moment but that doesn't mean I wouldn't accept the fact she's pregnant! It's all my fault! I made her insecure!" I say.

Alia's POV
One Month Later..
It's been a month and Shraddha's no where to be found! Sidharth frets everyday just in case she's aborted the child or harmed herself. He's eating himself up about it.
I miss Varun so much. My best friends not here and he's not here. There's no one to talk to. He's my soulmate and Shraddha's my best friend.

I wake up and tie my hair. I take out leftovers and heat them up for breakfast.

"Seriously Alu? You're eating leftovers for breakfast?" Shraddha says.
"Varun's not here to make his special pancakes and you're not here to make your curry." I say.
"Yes I am! I'm always here silly!" She says.

The beep from the microwave snaps me out of my daydream.
"She's not here." I say to myself.
Suddenly, I hear the a key in the lock.
Is Shraddha back? I can hear suitcases.
I watch in anxiety as the lock turns and turns and then I see who's here...

Is Shraddha back? Will Sidharth be able to cope?
