Jacqueline's POV

Oh no Mum and Dad are here!

"Won't you let us in Jacq?" Mum asks.

Omg what do I say?! They don't even know about Shraddha...

"Umm... sure." I lead them into the house.

They sit on the sofa.

"Would you like something? Tea, coffee?" I ask.

"A cup of tea, one sugar." My mum says.

"I'll just have a glass of water." My dad replies.

I go get them their beverages. I hear Sidharth walk into the sitting room. Oh god.

"Who are you?" My dad asks.

"I'm Shraddha's-"

"Cook!" I run into the room. "Mine and Shraddha's cook."

"Shraddha stays here?" My mum asks.

"For nearly a year now." I say.

"Umm... cook?" I ask anxiously. "Can I discuss today's menu?"

I pull Sidharth to the side.

"Who the hell are they?"

"They're my parents!"

"You're and Shraddha's parents? Oh cool let me meet them properly-"

"No! They can't find out that you and Shraddha have had a baby and aren't married! They're strict like that."

"So we can explain it to them!"

"No you don't get it Sidharth!"

"Are you the cook's wife?" I hear my dad say.

I rush into the room. Alia looks at me confused.

"Is this beautiful young lady the cook's wife?" My mum asks.

"Umm yeah! She's Alia the nanny and that's Sidharth the cook. They're happily married." I say in a rush.

"Wait the nanny?"

"Yeah there's three babies in this house!" I say and then put my hand over my mouth.

"THREE BABIES?!" My dad asks.

"They're umm..."

"Yours?"

"No Shraddha's."

"And where's she?"

"Out with her husband."

At that moment, Varun and Shraddha walk through the door.

"Varun? Oh I've always liked you! I'm so happy Shraddha got married to you not someone like this cook!"

"Mum?"

"Come here and give your parents a hug!"

"Umm..." Shraddha gives them a hug.

"Umm.. can I talk to all of you? In the kitchen. Now."

"So now I'm married to Sidharth?" Alia asks.

"And I have three children?!" Varun asks.

"Excuse me yaar you're making Alia married to Sidharth when I'm not even married to him?"

"Oh you want to get married?" Sidharth asks.

"Shut up! Jacqueline why didn't you just tell mum and dad the truth? They're going to find out one day!"

"Well at least I've bought some time for me to gently break the news for them and hopefully change their lives. Shraddha I've saved your life!"

"So what's the plan now?"

"Well Varun and Shraddha you have to share rooms! And Sidharth and Alia. Oh and Sidharth you have to cook and Alia take care of the babies."

"But I don't know how to cook!" He says.

"It's easy just stick some stuff in a pan! Now come on before mum and dad get suspicious!"

"So Varun. When did you and Shraddha meet again?" My dad asks.

"At the... gym. Yeah I was doing some push ups and she walked in and I was like hi what's up. And then we caught up and after a while I proposed."

"And to think she didn't even call her parents."

"It was a small ceremony mum. Just me, Varun and some... uhh friends."

"So 3 kids? You've been working hard Varun?" My dad asks.

"Umm yeah. We had Ayesha about six months ago and we literally just had the twins."

"Let's go meet our grandkids!"

"They're asleep." Alia says.

"So what nanny? If you'll excuse us." My dad says.

"Umm right this way." Alia leads them upstairs.

"Ayesha. Ayesha! Who's a pretty baby?" Mum and dad coo over Ayesha and the twins.

"Jacqueline we're quite hungry. Let's just have a rest. Tell the cook to make us something."

"Yes yes. I'll go and tell him right away. Shraddha show mum and dad the guest room."

Alia's POV

As soon as Shraddha's parents are gone, Varun pulls me into a room.

"Varun what are you doing? What if Shraddha's parent come?"

"So what? I want to spend time with my real wife." He says and hugs me.

"A nanny. Really?"

"I think you look cute in a nanny's uniform!"

"Shut up Varun!"

Jacqueline's POV

"Sidharth make some food! Now!"

"What?"

"Just make some parathas and aloo. That's easy."

"But I've never cooked before!"

"It's easy!" I quickly explain to him.
