Shraddha's POV

"Aditya please. Please don't. This is your blood. Your niece or nephew. Don't please."

"That voice sounds familiar. Just like when you were pleading me not to beat our baby to death. What did I do then? Hmm.... I didn't listen. What am I going to do now? I'm not going to listen. Sorry Shraddhi." He grabs my arm tightly and pulls me to the right edge. This is quite a big house, and there's a very long flight of stairs.

"Aditya please... Aditya I'll do anything!"

"Even if you did what I really wanted, I still wouldn't let you go." He says and pushes me.

Sidharth's POV

Ayesha was throwing a tantrum. And they say it's not good to keep them out when they're crying non stop. And babies cry when they sense an ominous signal. So I decided to take her home. I enter the house when I see Shraddha rolling down the stairs.

"SHRADDHA!" I shout and put the pushchair to one side. I manage to catch her before she tumbles down the last few stairs.

Blood is rushing down the side of her head.

"Shraddha. Shraddha wake up!" I check her pulse. She's breathing. But unconscious.

Next to the steps upstairs, I can see Aditya smirking away.

"You're behind this?!" I rage, outraged. But there's no time. I quickly call the doctor.

"So is the baby okay?" I ask the doctor.

"They're very strong. They managed to survive."

"They're?" I ask.

"Didn't you know? You're having twins!" The doctor says.

"Alia and Varun will be so happy to hear that."

"Don't worry Mr Malhotra, just make sure Shraddha gets quite a lot of rest. And give her these pills so that the surrogacy goes smoothly."

The doctor leaves. After a few minutes, Shraddha wakes up.

"Are you okay?" I ask her.

She vaguely opens her eyes.

"The baby?" She asks.

"It's okay. They're twins!"

"That's good," She says weakly.

"Shraddha how did this happen?"

"A... Aditya."

"Is he that Aditya... the one from your past?"

She nods and a tear leaves her eye.

"That's right - me! I did this." Aditya walks in and as soon as he enters, Ayesha starts crying.

"That's enough! Pack your bags and leave." I shout.

"And what are you going to do if I don't?"

"This!" I punch him in the face. Blood trickles from his nose.

"Would you like more?" I wrap my arm tightly around his neck, putting him in a tight headlock.

"No... no please it's about Ayesha!" Aditya pleads.

"Well if it's about my daughter..." I let go.

Aditya grabs Ayesha. He holds a razor to her arm.

"If you stupid sickening parents don't listen to what I say, I'm going to kill Ayesha."

"No please Aditya! Please!" Shraddha begs.

"Aditya let her go..." I say as I walk closer to him.

"Take one more step, and I'll kill your baby!"

Shraddha winces.

"Well... are you ready to listen? Basically, make Alia and Varun hate you both, and once you give birth, give them the babies and get lost from their lives. Oh Shraddha you can come back to me as a bonus, if you'd like." He winks at her. "And don't come back! Or I won't be nice next time!"

"Aditya..." Shraddha begins.

"Your breaking our friendship apart and our family. How can you be so cruel?"

"Yes or no?" He says, bringing the razor so close that it's about to touch Ayesha's skin.

"YES!" Shraddha shouts and snatches Ayesha from him.

"My baby, my poor poor baby. I love you so much." Shraddha showers Ayesha with kisses.

"We'll start as soon as we see them next." I say to Aditya.

"Good." He replies.

Will Shraddha and Sidharth actually make Alia and Varun hate them? Will Aditya succeed? Is Ayesha safe?
