Chapter Twenty One

Sidharth's POV
Finally, Ayesha goes to sleep. I kiss her on the head before gently placing her in her cot. I wrap her blanket firmly around her.
Suddenly, my phone starts ringing. I quickly answer it before it wakes Ayesha up.

"Hello?"

"Varun?"

I go outside the room and shut the door.
"What's wrong?" I ask him.

"I'll explain it to you. Are you at your house?"
Oh. So he doesn't know I'm staying with Shraddha. Maybe Alia hasn't told him yet.

"Umm actually I'm crashing at my friend's house for a couple of weeks."

"Oh."

"Why what's wrong?"

"Well Alia kind of... Cheated on me. So I left the house. I was wondering if I could stay at your house before I sort something out."

"Well you can still stay at my house. I'm not there. It's all yours."

"Thanks Sid."

"I'll meet you at Toro's. I'll give you the keys and we'll have a meal. We haven't done that in a long time. See you in about half an hour?"
"Yeah that sounds great."

"Ok then bye."

"Bye."

"Who was that?" Shraddha suddenly says.
I jump.

"What the hell? You scared me!" I say.

"Okay chill grumpy grumps! Was that your girlfriend?" She says.

Oh okay. Let me make her jealous.
"Yeah. We're going out to eat in half an hour."

"So why are you telling me for?!" She fumes.

"Because you said!" I say, unable to control my laughter.

"Yeah yeah." She says and starts to walk off.

"Shraddha" I say and grab her hand.

She gives me a confused look. "Parineeti and I broke up." I say.

"That's good!!" She exclaims. "Oops.." she covers her mouth and goes to Ayesha.

Did she really mean what she said? Anyway I laugh it off and grab my keys and leave.

Shraddha's POV
Sidharth and his girlfriend broke up...how? I mean when? "Oh shut up Shraddha why do you care?" My inner conscious says. Yeah why do I even care yaar there's nothing between me and Sidharth. We're just bringing Ayesha up together. That's all. Suddenly I got snapped out my thoughts when Ayesha started crying. I pick her up and lay her on my lap. I then start feeding her milk, as I feed her I realise how much she looks like Sidharth. I start thinking about him again. OH MY GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME YAAR?!!

Sidharth's POV
I go into Toro's and see Varun. I give him a hug and sit at the table. "So what's up Varun?" I ask.

"Sidharth Alia hasn't been telling me where she's been going every day for the past month. Every time I ask her she snaps at me and doesn't answer me. We've been having a lot of arguments. One day I decided to follow her she started buying baby clothes and nappies for some reason. And then I saw her hugging some guy and then Shraddha popped out of no where holding a baby . I ignored her and left..... omg I saw Shraddha...... wait she had a baby?!" He stops talking.

"Yeah, long story. I'll tell you another time. Varun, it might not be what you think. Maybe you've got it all wrong. Go home and talk to her. I know she love you Varun."

"Maybe you're right."

"Yeah I am. And make it up to her." I say and wink.

"You're right. I'll get going then." He says, grabbing his coat and keys. "Thanks Sid."

Alia's POV
Arjun comes over.

"Alia are you okay?" Arjun asks.

"No I'm not!!!" I say wildly as I pour wine into two champagne glasses. They're a gift we got from Kriti which say Mr and Mrs on them. Well Mr is not here so whatever!.

"Take a glass." I say to Arjun.

"No I'm good." He says.

"Take it!" I say.

He hesitantly takes the glass. I switch on the to. "OK Jaanu"'s on. It's the Enna Sona bit.

Arjun and I drink more and more glasses of wine until I feel really tipsy. Arjun doesn't seem to be in his senses either.

Varun's POV
I have a good feeling about this. How could I ever think Alia would cheat on me? She would never do that to me. I drive into our street.

Alia's POV

"Alia, I know you have a boyfriend..." Arjun begins.

"Husband!" I interrupt.

"Yeah yeah. But I like you..."

"Really?" I move closer to him.

"Yes. I really really like you."

"Well my husbands not here... So we can take advantage of that..."

Varun's POV

I park my car...

Oh no! What's Alia doing? Will Varun find out? How will he react? Is Shraddha falling for Sidharth again?
