Rewritten

The next day went just like the last. Wake up around 8 in the morning to one of the satyrs blowing the breakfast conch horn, thirty minutes till we're given omelets and apple juice. I groaned stepping out of bed and made my way to the plastic bag I kept my bathroom stuff, my loofa, soap and shampoo, toothbrush, and toothpaste. The basic things one needs in a restroom. But I needed clothes. Clothes, yes, everyone changes into their day clothes when they wake up, I take it a step further. I shower in the morning and therefore need new clothes.

It doesn't take me long to grab new clothes and wake myself up in the camp showers. You might be thinking, why does Percy shower in the morning? One thing, if I shower at night I can't sleep. So I made it a habit of morning showering so I can feel more awake, like a shot of espresso for the caffeine boost. I never really had coffee before, Annabeth says that the caffeine in it helps with ADHD but it really easy to get kinda addicted to it. It's not like I need it, still, it's good information to know. Personally, I prefer skittles to calm my idiotic demigod brain, but whatever floats your boat.

"Mornin' Perce," Jason waved at me as he walked back to his cabin. His blond hair was styled just the way he likes it and his purple Camp Jupiter shirt that he alternates with this orange Camp Half-Blood one. "What does Chiron have planned for you today?"

"The same things as always," I dried my hair with the towel. Now you may be thinking again, you can just make your hair dry just by thinking it, why dry your hair with a towel? Simple, when I dry it a little bit and let it air dry, I get super beach wavy hair. So wavy it's practically curly. "Canoe lessons for everyone, sword fighting for advanced and the little kids, lunch, Ancient Greek lessons with Annabeth, independent training, and then nothing.

"What about you bro?" The towel now laying around my neck preventing the water to drip into my shirt. "What has Chiron, Reyna, and Piper have you scheduled for?"

"Spear training with Clarisse, then the lava wall a couple times," He said. "Then sword fighting for intermediate and baby, lunch, free time, foot racing, and then I have pavilion duties."

Pavilion duties. There's a love-hate relationship with that job. On one hand, you get to know what we're going to have before anyone else does, put in suggestions for tomorrow or the day after. But you have to pick up all the plates and cups and cutlery put them to wash and then go around the dining hall to pick up any of the thrown food and trash left by the messy teens. "Ouch."

"Yeah," He agrees and nods his head. "Any ideas for dinner tomorrow?"

"Nah, but I have a suggestion for dessert."

"What?"

"Triple chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and rainbow sprinkles." I looked at him with an innocent smile.

"That does sound good." Jason laughs. "Anyway, I gotta go to the cabin now. Piper left her jacket inside and she's getting cold somehow."

"Ok, I'll see you at the dining hall." I wave bye as he jogs to the Zeus cabin and I still walking to the Poseidon cabin. But once I got there I threw my dirty clothes in the dirty laundry basket, tossed my restroom stuff into the restroom, and changed into my blue Nike's. Knowing I have very little time left before they start serving I run out of the cabin to the pavilion. Luckily I make just time for the plates to be handed out and the food to appear.

"Hey Percy," Annabeth kissed my cheek as I sat down at the Poseidon table. Normally people can't sit at other tables, but Chiron has tried to make her stop, she never listens. "After your solo training, come to the amphitheater, Chiron has something to say."
