Mary's Point of View
I had made my way onto the plane with the tears still running down my face.
As I made my way to my seat, I wiped them away and threw on a fake smile, ready to meet my new room mate for a whole year.
"Hey," I took my seat next to her, assuming that it was her because it was the university that had booked our tickets.
"Hey!" she smiled. She was really pretty and cute. "I'm Mille, Millie Jennings," she gave me a hug before I could extend my own for a formal handshake.
"I'm Mary, but just call me Em," already I felt confident about this coming year. She had this presence that made you feel really jumpy, like you were high or something.
We spent the waiting time talking and then two boys stood in front of us.
"Finally," she rolled her eyes. "Spencer I thought you ditched me and was making me go all on my own!" Millie fake pouted.
"I would never leave you alone," he pecked her on the lips and he was pretty good looking.
"Sorry about that," the other one muttered. "They're kind of inseparable."
Well if the other one was Spencer, this must be...
"I'm Tyler," he held his hand out and I took it.
Rather than shake it though, he bent his head down and kissed it as I blushed like crazy.
"I'm Mary," I hoped that my voice came out even. "But call me Em for short."
"Okay then Em," he smiled and took his seat, throwing an 'I'll see you later' over his shoulder.
Millie and I took our seats and started talking.
She and Spencer had been together for the last two years of highschool and were now at university together.
"Wow, that's a really long time," I told her.
"Yeah," she smiled. "We've had our ups and downs and lately there's something weird but I love him and I guess that's all that matters," she said.
There was something that seemed off when she talked about him but I didn't want to push her to talk, especially because we'd just met.
Suddenly, he was standing there again, smiling down at us.
"Hey girls," he smiled. "Em do you mind switching seats with me? I wanna spend some time with my girl," he winked at her and she giggled.
She really did love him I guess.
"Sure thing," I shrugged. I stood up and he pointed to where he and the other guy, Tyler was sitting.
We spent a lot of time talking and we became really good friends.
We all took the same cab to campus once we'd landed and made our way to our dorms.
I checked the time and it was half past twelve at night but I was wide awake.
I'd promised Lou that I'd Skype him as soon as I could in his letter but I wasn't sure if he'd want to talk to me.
I'd told Liam, Zayn and Niall to join him but hadn't mentioned anything about it to Harry.
I'll admit it, I caved and told him that I loved him at the end of his letter, I'd scrawled it down before I left.
I turned my laptop on and found that Lou's Skype was logged in.
I didn't know if he was wanting to talk to me or someone else so I didn't call.
