Chapter 22

Mary's Point of View

"I'm gonna be on Ed's album."

"WHAT!" Niall yelled, drawing unwanted attention to our table.

"OH MY GOD IT'S ONE DIRECTION!" a girl screamed.

Shit.

I finally tell them the truth and then this happens?

"Run!" Liam yelled.

I think the only reason he was so panicked at that moment was because the girl had started walking towards us after getting her cutlery.

Which included a spoon.

I was in too much shock to move.

I'd forgotten what it felt like to be chased when the boys were around me. It's like I was just as overwhelmed as the first time.

"Em," Lou shook my shoulder vigorously but I still didn't react.

He threw me over his shoulder and I gasped.

"Louis put me down!"

"I have to get you out of here, I'll put you down then."

He was running out of the restaurant while the others had left and there was already a herd of girls outside that wouldn't let us get to the car.

"Lou put me down!" I said straight into his ear.

He understood what I wanted and let me go so he could talk to some fans. I know that he adores them a lot so I'd feel bad if I took him away from them and them from him.

He hugged me.

"We'll talk later," he said into my war and I nearly freaked out there. I couldn't tell by his voice whether he was happy or not about this.

A few fans came up to me and they were so nice!

They asked what it was like to be Lou's sister and best friends with the other boys.

A group of sixteen year olds then came up to me and just asked me blunt questions rudely.

"Where have you been the past year?" a blond bimbo looking girl sneered, looking me up and down.

Her attitude annoyed me.

"Not," I said, "That it's any of your business, but I've been studying in the states."

"Are you back for good?" another asked me.

"Yup."

"Well you don't deserve to be," another red head laughed.

"You don't deserve Lou as a brother and you sure as hell don't deserve the boys as friends!" the blonde spoke again. "You're ugly as dog shit, I don't get what they saw in you."

"Louis should've disowned you the moment you came out of your mums stomach!" the other told me.

I was going to correct her and tell her I didn't come out of my mothers stomach but I was barely holding my tears and sobs in and Lou was too busy to notice me.

I turned on my heel and the third one shouted behind me: "Stay away from Harry!"

They all grinned at me and I sprinted away.

I was rounding a corner when I bound into the person that I wanted to avoid at all costs because of what they said.

Harry.

"Leave me alone!" I yelled. Thank the heavens that there weren't any people in the street.

I saw the car in the distance and I realized that the boys must have stopped here to avoid the fans and wait for Lou.
