Your POV
As I woke up with the sun blaring into my eyes, I felt safe with arms around me. I looked right next to me. Evan.

"Wake up sleepyhead." I teased messing up his hair.

"What time is it?" He slurred.

"It looks like noon." I said. He rubbed his eyes. It's Saturday so Melissa's gone shopping for groceries. I got up and walked back inside.

"Uh hey guys." I said. They looked at me.

"Slept outside?" Craig asked.

"Hell yeah. I stayed up till 5:30 I think." I said.

"Where's Evan?" Jonathan asked.

"Outside he's coming back in." I responded. My only response from them were a smirk. I rolled my eyes. Anthony opened his mouth as if he were to say something but was cut off by a phone ringing. Lui answered.

"Hello?" He asked. He went into the other room.

"So how did you sleep?" Ryan asked.

"Pretty comfortable." I said not realizing what I had said.

"I bet you were." Yuki said. I rolled my eyes. Evan came in.

"Hey guys." He said. Everyone wiggled their eyebrows at me. I sighed. We heard a loud sob. We ran to the living room. We saw Lui crying.

"Lui! What happened?" I exclaimed.

"She's in the hospital, Melissa, a car crash and she went flying. She did nothing wrong. Had a seatbelt on, wasn't drunk, wasn't texting, and didn't run a red light. She drove perfectly. Except for that asshole who did it to her. He ran a red light and slammed right into her vehicle. It's unlikely she's going to make it." He sobbed.

"We need to see her." I said. Lui nodded. I grabbed my keys and headed out the door. With only Yuki, Lui and I. I drove off to the hospital. I remember the faces of everyone. Evan and Tyler were pale. Jonathan and Marcel were wide eyed. Craig just held his heart. The rest, tears. We finally reached the hospital.

"Melissa Amy Gagnon." I said to the front desk.

"Room 392." She answered. I nodded and proceed to walk quickly down the hallway. I looked to the left and there was the room. I came in and peeped my head around the corner. There I saw Melissa on the hospital bed. She was covered with wires and had a weak heart monitor going off. The monitor was going off like beep, wait three seconds, beep and so on.

"Melissa..." Yuki said sadly. We ran up to her and hugged her softly. Her eyes were shut. She looked dead. But not dead.

"Melissa. Please Melissa please answer!" Lui sobbed. I cried. An image popped into my mind.

IMAGINE THIS (OOH A SPOOKY GHOST)
MELISSA'S POV
I kept both hands on the steering wheel. As I turned on my turn radar I had enough time to turn on the music. I listened to it normally and turned. I checked the speed limit. 55 mph. I went 50. I went straight ahead and next thing I knew a full on car was blasting right at me. The airbags went off and I went flying out of the car. Next thing I knew was that sirens came and I blacked out.

AAAAAND WE ARE BACK
I shivered at what I think she went through. I can't believe this. Lui's devastated. Melissa lies here and not a single tear. Not a word. Not a smile. Just soft breathing. I sat in the chair and prayed. Prayed she'll be alright. Prayed that she wouldn't die. Just prayed. Not knowing my prayers won't be answered I still continued. Is she going to be alright? Questions that no one but God himself can answer.

"I knew I should have gone with her. This is my fault." Yuki said.

"It's no ones fault except for that asshole who hit her." Lui said. I hope that bastard's dead. I really do.
