Your POV
It was moody in the room. Lui's sobs were the only thing keeping up noise. It was very difficult to calm him down. But if your girlfriend of ten years was in the hospital due to a crash and wouldn't know if she's alive or not, then you'd be pretty depressed as well. All was silenced. A few more sobs from all and the heart monitor flatlined. Everyone's head perked and sadness and sorrow turned into fear. We rushed to get a doctor.
"Sir! Our friend! The monitor flatlined." I said. His focus turned into a rush to the room. He had a few nurses following him. He shut the door.
Melissa's POV
I heard screams from all around. I wanted to see what was happening but all I saw was darkness. I tried moving but nothing worked.
"Clear!" a voice yelled. A white flash appeared in my vision. I felt shocked and burnt. Ringing filled my ears.
"Clear!" the voice said again. The ringing filled my ears again. All of a sudden light was brought to my sight. I saw a man in a doctor's suit next to me.
"Madame, you've been in the hospital for a few hours. Can you see or hear me?" he asked.
"Yes I can." I answered.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Melissa. Melissa Amy Gagnon." I said. He nodded.
"Get them in. Tell em' she's alive." he said as he walked out. I wonder who he was talking about. I closed my eyes for a bit. What happened? Familiar voices came in the room. Sobs or whispering. It was three of them.
"Melissa! You're alive." My boyfriend's voice said. Lui oh how I've missed you. The others looked like Yuki and y/n. They ran up to me.
"Melissa!" Y/n said. I missed them.
"What happened?" I asked.
"You've been in the hospital due to a serious crash. That bastard is dead. You're not luckily." Lui said. I smiled. These are what friends are really meant for. The ones who heal you back up when you're falling apart.
"We're so glad that you're alive. Oh god I wouldn't know what to do without you." Lui said. I hugged him softly.
"I love you Lui." I said. He pecked my lips. I looked at y/n.
"I told you I was too strong for pain. You said, say it when I'm in a hospital bed, here I am. Saying it again. In a hospital bed." I said laughing softly. A nurse came into the room.
"Sorry to bug you but you need to exit the room. You're healing and better. It's time for you to leave." she said.
"Will do." I said. I got up and walked to the door. It makes me look like a fool when I'm in a hospital gown. I shurgged it off. I continued to walk with Lui, Yuki and y/n. I allowed y/n to take the lead because she knew where to car was. Lui locked his arm around my waist to help me walk. We finally got to the car.
"I'll stay in the back with Melissa." Lui stated. We drove off and proceeded to head home. I slowly fell asleep into Lui's chest.

When we finally got home, Lui carried Melissa to their room. Evan came up to me.
"Hey, I know today was a lot to handle and it just got better. Tyler, Marcel and Yuki were all planning to head down to the bar. Would you like to come with?" He asked.
"Well saying you need someone to drive you back home, then yes I would want to come along." I answered.
"Awesome, see you in a few." He said and ran back to our room.
