Short Story

I am so sad. I wrote this 8000 word solangelo story it was so good. Then I powered my phone off and BOOM it's gone...I cri 😭
And I recently ate a really good pomegranate. Just putting that out there.

Ok ok I know in the books Will can't sing, but hear me out.
Will still can't sing soft songs but he can change his voice so he can go all screamo and sing Nico's favorite Bring Me The Horizon songs.

"Hey Nico," Will said walking up behind the son of Hades, "c'mere I wana show you something." Nico was having a discussion with Thalia at the moment. Something about rock bands.

Nico turns, "what is it Will? I'm busy."

"Trust me it's cool. Thalia, you come too."

Begrudgingly, they followed the blond twards the pavilion where Nico saw a stage. It was equipped with instruments for band. Drums, guitars, a microphone set for the singers, basically anything you would need to have a band.

"Hey guys come out!" Will yelled.
Some of his siblings walked out from behind the building.
Will walked up to the microphones.

"Sunshine, I don't want to be rude but you know you can't sing." Nico crossed his arms.

"I know but I found something out the other day," Will set up the mics, "ready guys?"
The others nodded.

Will cleared his throat and the music started.

My head is haunting me and my heart feels like a ghost

Thalia jumped up and down once when she recognized the song.

Nico's eyes got wide when he realized how his boyfriend could change his voice to fit the song.

Nico stood there dumbfounded a small grin making his way across his face.

Other campers were crowding around the Pavilion eager to see what was going on.
Much to their surprise they saw Will Solace up on the stage. He could sing after all, just not in the way they expected.

The song ended and the campers cheered. Nico grinned and ran up to Will.
"That was amazing sunshine!" He exclamed.

Will smiled and looked at him, "I can sing oh ye of little faith."

• the Apollo kids are always up at the asscrack of dawn not because if any magical "kids of the sun" shist though. Apollo blasts heavy-metal at a frequency only his kids can hear so they can watch their father in all of his bad-haiku-ness pass over their cam every day.

"Whoa Solace!" Nico steadied his boyfriend who was ready to drop from exaustion.

"Stupid dad in his fucking sun. Being a bitch and blasting that shit music at the asscrack of dawn." Will grumbled to no one in perticular.

"What?"

Kyla walked by, "dad blasts heavy-metal that only we can hear as he drives his Chariot. He thinks we need to greet him every morning."

"I'm probably going to die," Will sagged into Nico's arms.

"How about you sleep now? I'm sure one if your siblings can take a shift fit you." Nico Suggested, "you can use the spair room in the Hades cabin."
Will nodded and dragged himself away.

Then Nico went to Annabeath.
"I need help." He said when she opened the door to the Athena cabin.

He told her about the Apollo campers situation, "we could make an extra room that is more soundproof than the rest. It can bunk three and they can take turns sleeping." She always had ideas.

Nico thanked her and brought Leo the plans.

After a day, they had constructed a small cabin. It wasn't able to block out Apollos music entirely but it was close. It had a tiny fireplace and three bunks. There was a small closet to store weapons and in case of an emergency. It was placed behind the Apollo cabin.

Will woke up the next day to his dad's crap music but he was feeling better.

When he walked to the pavilion he was surprised to see Nico up at this ungodly hour.
"Neeks what are you doing up?" He asked.

"I have a surprise for you," his boyfriend covered his eyes.

When the Italian uncovered Will's eyes the blond gasped. He knew what the small building was.
Will turned and engulfed Nico in a bone crushing hug, "thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!"
He ran off to tell his siblings.
