You flipped the page of your book while taking a sip of your coffee, enjoying the sights and sounds of your favorite coffee shop on a Saturday morning. As you were taking another sip, somebody cleared their throat. You looked up and saw a man about your age dressed in an extremely nice suit standing across from you with a briefcase in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. "Do you mind if I sit here?" "No, of course not." You cleared your stuff from the table and placed in on the floor next to you. He gave you a small smile before sitting down. You placed your bookmark in your book and set it aside. "I'm Rafael. May I ask what your name is?" You felt your face heat up under his intense gaze; it was as if his eyes never missed a single detail in the world around him. "(Y/N). Nice to meet you." He smirked. "The pleasure is all mine. I apologize as this may seem weird, but I noticed you're here every Saturday and I just wanted to introduce myself." You smiled. "Well now that you've done just that, tell me more about yourself." "There's not much to tell. I'm a lawyer, I enjoying skiing, and the occasional trip to the theater. I'm much more interested in you, however." You blushed and pulled the sleeves of your sweater down. "Well, I own my own bookstore, I am an avid coffee drinker, I appreciate a good show as well." You both took a sip of your coffee. You giggled at the unintentional unison of the action. His ears turned red and you thought it was the most adorable thing in the world. "So you're a hot shot lawyer, huh?" "I guess you can say that. Listen, I have to get going. I have to be in court in a few minutes, but I was wondering if you would want to meet up for a drink or something later?" You felt your heart beating against your chest. "I'd love to." He smiled and took out a business card before flipping it to the back and writing something down. When he handed it over, your fingers brushed against his and you felt sparks fly. You quickly took the card and pulled back. "Feel free to call me and we can set up a time." He gave you a smile as he got up and put his coat on before grabbing his briefcase. "Until next time, (Y/N)." You felt a chill run down your spine at the way he said your name. He smirked and walked towards the exit. You stared down at the card in your hand and couldn't help but smile.
