Sonny Carisi

You pulled your scarf closer to your body as a cold breeze blew by. You were sitting on a bench in Central Park waiting for your suspect to walk by. You sighed and Sonny gave you a look. "You're gonna blow our cover if you don't relax" He said and you sighed. "I know, sorry. I just wanna get this over with." You took a deep breath and sat back. "Don't worry, (Y/L/N). We'll get this guy." You looked up at him and felt the blood rush to your cheeks. "Suspect is heading your way." Finn stated through the earpiece and you glanced around until you saw the suspect round the corner. "Got him." You watched as he walked closer to where you and Sonny were sitting. "Hold my hand." You gave Sonny a look. "What?" "Hold my hand. It looks out of place for us to be sitting this close but ignoring each other." You grabbed his hand and he gave you a smirk. "Excited?" You rolled your eyes. "You wish." Sonny made some comment about getting dinner later as the suspect walked past you. You waited a few moments before standing up and following the suspect. "Suspect is heading east through the park." Sonny said and you felt yourself start to warm up from the adrenaline. The suspect turned his head slightly before taking off. You sprinted forward and heard Sonny yell something but he was faded out by the wind rushing past you. You pushed yourself to run faster until you were in reaching distance. You threw yourself forward and grabbed his collar before pushing him down. The guy was trying to get out from under your grip and you struggled a bit. "Stop resisting!" You yelled. The guy kept squirming around until Sonny ran up and helped you hold the guy down. You quickly pulled out your handcuffs and placed them on the suspect's wrists. "Gregory Alder, you're under arrest." You stated as the two of you pulled him up off the ground. You handed him off to an officer and took a few deep breaths. "I didn't know you could run that fast." You chuckled. "Neither did I." Sonny chuckled and you smiled. "Let's get back to the station and warm up." You said and started walking back to the car. Once back, you immediately grabbed the mug off your desk and filled it with coffee. You sighed as the warmth travelled through your body and you sat back down at your desk. You were getting ready to dig back into the paper work piled up on your desk, when someone cleared their throat. You looked up and saw Sonny looking at you from his desk. "What?" He chuckled. "You know that you sigh a lot?" You frowned. "So I've been told." "Oh come on, (Y/N). I was only joking. No need to frown." You rolled your eyes and looked back at your computer. "Let me make it up to you." You gave him a quick glance before returning to your computer. "There's this great bar down the street from my place. Let me buy you a drink." You turned your attention towards him. "Make it two and I'll consider it." He smirked. "You really are something." You smirked. "Well?" He sighed. "Alright, alright. Two drinks." You smiled. "And Carisi?" He looked at you. "You know that you sigh a lot?" You said before going back to work. You heard him chuckle and mutter something under his breath. You smiled and got back to working on the case.
