You rubbed your large stomach as classical music filled the house. You were 6 months pregnant and nothing soothed your raging hormones more than classical music. You closed your eyes and hummed along, allowing yourself to relax. You faintly heard the sound of a door opening and then closing through the music; Rafael was home. You heard somebody walk up behind you and a soft kiss was placed on the top of your head. You opened your eyes and was met with the stare of your husband's. "Welcome home, baby." He hummed in response and took off his jacket before throwing it over the couch. You watched him loosen his tie before he walked back over to you. He sat down beside you and you readjusted so your feet were in his lap. "How was your day?" He asked tiredly. You gave him a small smile. "Probably not as bad as yours. You okay?" He gave you a smile before placing a light kiss on your leg. "I'm better now that I'm with you." You chuckled. "As cheesy as ever, mi amor." He gave you his signature smirk and you felt your heart speed up. "Only for you, mi hermosa esposa." You felt your cheeks heat up. "Do your feet hurt?" You nodded. He began to rub your swollen feet and you sighed in content. "You really know how to spoil a woman, Rafi." "Only for the woman I love." "I made your favorite for dinner. All you have to do is heat it up." He leaned over and kissed you. "This is why we're married." You chuckled. "You didn't do a lot today, I hope. Remember what the doctor said, (Y/N)." You rolled your eyes. "Yes I remember. But it's so boring not being able to do anything! I feel so useless now." You said with a small pout. "Baby, you're not useless. You are doing something incredibly important for this family- you are carrying our child. And I'm sure that is no easy task." You looked up at him and he smiled. "I love you, (Y/N/N)." You tried to fight back a smile but it was no use. "I love you too, Rafi." He gave you another kiss before standing up and heading into the kitchen. "(Y/N), you have certainly outdone yourself this time." He yelled from the kitchen. You shook your head and stood up from the couch. "I'm going to go take a bath." You yelled back before waddling into your bathroom. You turned the water on and filled it with bubbles before undressing, lighting a few candles, and climbing into the tub. You felt your muscles relax as the warm water soaked your body. You heard soft footsteps as Rafael walked into the bathroom. You looked over and saw him roll up his sleeves before kneeling beside the tub. "What's wrong?" He gave you a small smile. "Nothing, I just wanted to help you." You gave him a smile before leaning back. He grabbed a washcloth and dipped it into the tub before slowly washing your stomach. As you took in the sight before you, you felt your emotions start to go on overload. You felt a tear roll down your cheek but you quickly wiped it away. "Rafael, you're going to be such a good father." You whispered. He stopped and looked up at you. "I promise to you, (Y/N), that I will be the best father. I will do whatever I can to help you take care of him and I will prove to you that I can be a good father." You knew this was coming from him and his father having a rocky relationship and you felt your heart break. "Oh I know you will, Rafi. I know you will." You said as you brushed your hand across his cheek. He held it in his own hand before placing a light kiss on the inside of your wrist, sending chills down your spine. "Come on, let's get you ready for bed." He said before standing up. He helped you out of the tub before wrapping a towel around you and walking you into your room. He grabbed one of his shirts and you eagerly put it on before crawling into bed. Rafael stripped down to his boxers before crawling in beside you. He wrapped an arm protectively around your stomach and you cuddled in closer to his chest. "I love you, Rafi." He placed a kiss behind your ear. "I love you too, my beautiful wife."
