It Won't be Long Now (sequel to adopted by mullette)

The Rock

Right foot in the little crack, left foot in the cave in. 

After being adopted by Herc and Laf I've come here every summer. 

I've learned exactly how to climb up this rock without falling. 

I made it to the top and wobble-shuffled my way to the edge of it. 

Sarah, sitting on the edge of the dock, took a picture of me up there. I promptly flipped her off afterward. 

"SEND ME THAT!" Pip yelled, climbing up after me. 

I pretended to elbow him, which made him flinch. Seeing as we are on top of a rock that is very high up I can see why. 

I turned, shuffled to the edge of it. 

"one...two...three!" I yelled, squealing after three as I pushed off of the rock and plunged into the water. 

I feet felt the mushy, cold, gross lake bottom, then I swam to the surface. I pushed my hair out of my face and swam out of the way just in time for Philip to jump off after me. 

Today is sadly the last day of our vacation. 

Tomorrow we head back to school 

(AN- (ಥ﹏ಥ) I'm going to apologize for the next chapter ahead of time.)  

But we don't talk about that, that's too sad. 

Paige climbed up the rock after much debate, once she actually made it up she jumped off. 

Sarah stayed on the dock, shouting threatening comments at us from afar, and taking pictures. 

-Timeskip like 2 hours- 

We shuffled inside, everyone was already dressed by now. 

I walked into my room to find everything packed. 

"did he-"

"I did!" Pip interjected walking up behind me. 

I spun around to face him. 

"You seriously packed everything?" 

"yeah!!" 

"well, that's something I never thought I'd see...thanks!" 

We both walked back out into the kitchen to find Sarah, literally, pouring chips down Paige's throat. 

"OO CAN I HAVE SOME??" I jumped over the large counter and opened my mouth, Sarah began pouring chips into my mouth. 

I shut my mouth again and coughed a bit. 

Sarah and Paige were cracking up laughing, Philip looked really confused. 

This is the beauty of our friend group.
