Max's POV
One word, drama.
We just got here not to long ago and Ramona and Lola are already at each others throats. Once we put all of our tents up and got situated, and figured out who's sleeping where...
Ramona with Jackson
Lola with Will
Bobby with Andy
And Zoey with me.
To be honest, I think Zoey has a thing for me. I'm gonna have to let her down easy though, I already have a girlfriend, Rose. I will not be one of those guys with a girlfriend and purposely leading another girl on.
"Max hurry up" Jackson says snapping me out of my thoughts, and I run up catching up with him Bobby, Lola, Will, and Andy as we make our way to the lake.
Once we get there, I sit down on this rock, letting my feet sit in the water, as I watch everyone swim around. I can't swim so I'm not even going to risk getting into that water.
"I'm so going to marry her one day" I look to see Jackson staring past me with his mouth hanging wide open, he's just asking for a fly to fly in there.
I turn around to see Ramona and Zoey walking towards us in there bikini's, but I cut Ramona out my vision immediately as I see Zoey.
It's like time slows and it's just me and her. We lock eyes and she smirks at me. She looks so flawless, with her blonde hair swaying as she walks and....
Then I go into a huge coughing fit. I think a fly just flew in my mouth. This is so embarrassing imagine how I look to Zoey right, hacking up a fly right in front of her.
"Omg Max are you okay?" everyone rushes over to me, and Zoey places her hand on my back rubbing her hand in circles, and immediately just feel sparks fly through, which causes me to get nervous and I'm coughing even harder for a whole 'nother reason.
"Stand up" Ramona tells me, and she grabs ahold of my hand and helps me up, and I slowly stop coughing.
"Haha karma" Lola laughs at me and I just want to pounce off of this rock and right on top of her.
You know what I'm gonna do it.
I jump of the rock but Jackson screams no, and grabs me before I can even make it towards Lola's stupid face, just one little kick at her and I would've been satisfied.
"Max are you okay what happened?" Zoey basically whispers in my ear, sending a cold shiver across my body.
"I'm fine, I just swallowed a bug" I cringe at the thought.
"Well, be more careful next time" Zoey laughs like an angel and she jumps into the water like a mermaid, and everyone follows behind her and they start swimming and stuff.
I can tell by the way Lola is staring at Ramona, that she knows she looks better than her, but she's just to stubborn to admit. You know now that I think about it each time Ramona tells me something about Lola I always wondered what Ramona did to ever make Lola mad at her in the first place.
I still can't get over the fact that Zoey and Lola used to be the best of friends, I wonder what happened to them, I'll ask Zoey later on tonight.
"Max come on get in the water" Bobby smiles at me.
"Can't swim" I sigh.
"Here get on my back" Ramona swims over to me, and I slowly get on her back.
"I need to talk to you" I whisper in Ramona's ear.
"Okay hold on" and Ramona swims us over to the other side of the lake, under this cave looking thing, and she sits me down on this rock in the middle of it, while she continues to float in the water.
"What's up?"
"I think, I like Zoey" I blurt out.
Ramona's eyes widen, and she burst out laughing. "Max, she's four years older than you"
"Okay and? Age is just a number boo"
"Max, she's sixteen. She has better things to do than date a ten year old" She finally stops laughing and tries to talk some sense into me.
"I'm almost eleven" I mumble.
"It's not going to work out buddy, I'm sorry. I mean she's a wild child teenager and you're not even in middle school yet" she sighs.
"Okay but I'll be in middle school next school year" I argue back.
"You have a girlfriend"
"I can break up with her, she's getting a little too clingy anyway"
"Ramona and Max, we're going back to our tents to get ready for tonight" Andy swims over to thr cave entrance informs us.
I sigh and look at my hands.
"Max, you okay?" She whispers.
"Just swim me out of here" I day trying to stop the conversation, I get on her back and she swims out of the cave eventually catching up with everyone else, and I stay on her back as she walks us back to our tents.
I hate it that she's right, it could never work between Zoey and I, but it couldn't hurt to try and I Max Fuller will not give, I will fight for my woman. No matter how right Ramona is.

I get done changing behind the tree into my pajamas, I only chose pajama pants, so Zoey will be able to see where my soon to be abs are going to be.
Once I make it back to the tent I unzip it and I scream.
Zoey and Bobby immediately jump away from there make out session.
"You're cheating on me" I gasp.
"We were never dating" Zoey says confused.
"Yet!" I add.
I through my bag of clothes into the tent, and I storm off.
Ramona was right, I should've just listened to her in the first place, and I wouldn't he so heartbroken right now.
I just watched the love of my life swap spit with another guy, how am I supposed to live?
Omg, I stop walking and I freeze in my spot. I can't believe what I'm seeing right now.
