"So, tell me. Any like, funny slash embarrassing slash weird childhood moments?" Lauren asked.

I laughed and thought for a while. "Right now, I can probably give you only a few. Okay once in fifth grade, my science teacher decided that it would be fun to catch a worm, cut it and see that would happen. Me, being my absolutely, 'I hate animals that crawl and basically small animals' self, I was not enjoying that class one bit. So I was the group leader, but I do not want to get dirty and catch worms. So I made my group members catch them. So we had this dish, tray, thing where we're supposed to put the worms. I just stood there, watching them dig up worms on the ground, once in a while cringing when I see someone holding a worm. So my group couldn't get any, and this friend of mine gave us some of their. So again, since I'm terrified of worms, I made my group mates cut and hold the worm and the magnifying glass while I wrote the data or whatever."

"So we were already finished, starting to clean up and get ready to go back to our classroom and my friend decided that it was funny to get a worm with bare hands and shove the worm at me. And since she wouldn't stop, there was legit tears coming out of my eyes and I was so embarrassed and pissed at the girl," I finished. "So note to you, don't put worms anywhere near me."

Lauren laughed. A lot. "Aww, baby." She pecked my lips and smiled at me. "Give me another one."

I stayed silent for a while to think. "Oh, okay!"

"So when I was about 8 or 9, my friends and I were on our bikes. And when we got to our street, they started getting off their bikes. But the thing is, they got off while it was moving and they were making it look so easy. So, me being super dare-devil-y, decided to try it. And I failed. When I got off, I accidentally sort of sat on the back wheel, which was still moving very fast, might I add. It like, scratched against my, you know, down there." Lauren burst out laughing.

"Oh my God, I can't!" Lauren said in between giggles. I sarcastically laughed back at her.

"It hurt! I ran back home to check if I had a bruise or a scratch or something like, down there. And it was so awkward because all of my neighbors that I was with were boys, so like. Ew," I elaborated.

"You had an amazing childhood!" Lauren exclaimed in the middle of the coffee shop we were in. A lot of people stared but turned their heads back to their work and stuff.

"There was also this one time, I was maybe 7 or 8, and in our school corridors, we had like faucets sticking out of the sides. So that it's easier for the janitors to clean stuff. So I was absentmindedly walking on the corridor, alone because I was a Marshall, and I was glued to the wall. And then suddenly, I felt a sharp pain on my right inner thigh, I literally couldn't move and I thought I broke my leg or something. I was so scared and no one was their to help me or something," I told her.

"You had a lot of things happen to your lower body," Lauren pointed out.  I giggled and nodded my head in agreement.

"That's not all! When I was ten, I hitched a ride with my best friend at that time. We were on a motorcycle. So I got off and I got off on the right side, where the hot part was. And it like, touched my leg. So I instantly pulled back. And then my friend's dad was late and said, 'Oh don't go down that side. It's hot!' in Filipino. And in my mind I was thinking 'too late now, dude'. So I got off on the other side and waved goodbye to them. Once they left, I started limping towards my house. Because they dropped me off at the end of the street.  So as I was limping, I could feel my calf burning up. I started crying while limping and when I got to my house, I let out a loud scream and yeah. I have some remains of the scar. It's sort of gone now because my skin tone got darker through the years," I told her. "Also, this is why I hate motorcycles."

"So that's why you immediately fled your first date ever! She brought a motorcycle right?" Lauren asked. I nodded.

"I know, I had a crazy childhood."
