Author Here! I'm sorry about not only the fact that I haven't updated in a while, but also because of the short chapter. I am moving into a new house and haven't really had time to write anything. Anyway it is a very good half-point for the story, so I hope you enjoy it!~AziWolf

Riddick and I had landed on a popular planet, though I was unsure of the name. We were on the outskirts of the huge city, getting a new battery for our ship since it was almost out. There were people everywhere, and the sky was dark from the factory smoke. I knew that they were probably coming from those very factories which were scattered all over the city. The smell was dreadful and made my very sensitive nose itch. I leaned against the ship as Riddick was inside of the small shop with four other people and two workers.
My fingers were hidden in the sides of my pants as I looked at the people around us. Most of their faces were covered with ash and dirt, and I could smell blood from their cuts. I stared at the ground constantly because I was afraid my beast would come forth, but the dirty smell of the air kept it at bay for the most part. I rocked on my heels becoming impatient. Something didn’t feel right.
I shook the feeling away, knowing it was probably from my being uncomfortable around a lot of normal people. I was a convict, wanted everywhere because of them. There was no telling if any of these people knew who I was or Injecco. I turned to the side and looked through the window. It was obvious the store owner knew who he was. I watched as he backed against the wall behind the money transfer and hold up his hands nervously. Riddick was simply standing there with a blank expression, and I figured he was annoyed. I would be too, because everyone treated us differently. We didn’t always steal.
Though the money Riddick had, had been taken from that bastard Kenley, It didn’t mean that we never worked for our money. Riddick pulled out the clear plastic which had the amount of money engraved on it. He waved it in front of the money transfer, and a few of the engraved markings became full again. Instead of waiting for the man to get the battery for him, he walked around the counter and grabbed it himself. I smiled to myself and shook my head. It was typical behavior for a convict. People like us, didn’t really have much of a choice. We had to do everything ourselves most of the time.
I turned back toward the ship and had gotten the sudden feeling that someone was watching me. I froze as I stared at the blurry, disfigured reflection of myself. I perked up my hearing and my smell and observed my surroundings as best as I could without looking around. All I could hear was the constant chatter of ignorant people, and the atrocious smell from the smoke. I shifted my eyes to the left but saw no one and then the other way. I saw a sudden movement and whirled around.
I scanned the area as everyone I looked at was going about their own lives. I felt a hand on my shoulder and bolted around as I threw my fist out in defense. It was snagged by Riddick’s strong fingers and I looked up at him frightened. I calmed down when I realized it was him and took a deep breath, though it only made my breathing worse. He looked slightly worried and tilted his head slightly at my behavior. “Everything alright?” he asked casually with the battery in one hand as he released my arm.
I nodded without saying anything and Riddick opened up the ship and walked in. I looked around one last time and turned around toward him. He was pulling out the battery and put the other one in before walking back out. I knew he was going to give it back to the clerk so that he could either trash it or recharge it. I closed up the ship as he walked into the store and leaned back against the door trying to get a grip on my nerves. I closed my eyes and calmed my breathing, and then opened them back up to see a man standing in front of me.
I clenched my jaw as I watched him and he stood there with a smile on his face. “Leenah Goxack. We’ve finally met.” He said with a soft voice that reminded me of milk. I darted my eyes to Riddick as he was asking where to put it. I clenched up my fists as I watched him. He was short for a man, but taller than me. He had short brown hair and stubble on his face that was meant to be there. He was wearing a plain back suit with a blue tie and black shoes. I noticed there on the knot of his tie the symbol of Injecco.
I swallowed hard and then turned to run toward Riddick. “Ridd-“ I screamed as I felt a small pinch in my neck. I stopped suddenly feeling very drowsy as I pulled up my hand up to my neck and pulled out a small point with an empty vial the size of a pea attached to it. I blinked a few times realized that I had been poisoned. “Ridd...ick…”I whispered as I fell to my knees. My vision was getting drowsy and I turned in time to see his face turn toward mine. He was furious as he ran toward us, but I blacked out. All I could hear was the stomping of boots and the shooting of darts.
I didn’t know when I had waked up, but I felt the cold metal beneath me. I opened my eyes and tried to move, but my wrists, ankles, waist, and neck was secure beneath the same type of metal. “No…no, no, no, no…” I whispered as I struggled inside of the box that reminded me of the ones in a morgue. “NO! Let me out! Let me go! Please! I can’t go back! I can’t! I can’t! No!” I screamed as the tears started to stream down the sides of my cheeks as I moved on the table making it rock and clank.
I saw light brighten the small box as I was pulled out. I stopped moving and struggled to lift my head. I saw the same man as I was pulled into the Room. I knew by the hoses attached to the ceiling we were in a ship. I looked up and over toward the man that had pulled me out and was praying it was Riddick, but instead it was the man who had been standing in front of me.
He was smiling as he looked down at me. “Are you comfortable my dear?” he asked amused. I struggled with gritted teeth.
“Who the fuck are you!? Let me go!” I demanded as my anger and desperation getting the better of me.
“Leenah…please, you know that I cannot let you go. We missed you.” He grinned down at me as his hands were held behind his head.
“Where is Riddick?” I asked quieter and a little upset.
“We have no use for a man that would only break free of us. You escaped, but that won’t happen again. He is fine I assure you, but unfortunately we did have to turn him over to mercenaries. Unfortunately for you, by the time he escapes from them he won’t be able to save you.” He was still grinning from ear to ear.
“He will escape, and he will kill you.” I growled, feeling my blood pump faster.
He took a breath in, not changing his face, and let it out softly. “I highly doubt it my dear. Even if he does, he won’t be able to rescue you. You are very important to us. I can’t wait for you to see your new room. It will be much like the one you are in now.” He laughed a little.
I screamed at him and growled angrily as I thrashed around, bringing my beast forward. “I’ll kill you!” I snarled as my yellow eyes, sharp nails, and teeth grew forward. He watched in amazement at my small transformation.
“My, oh my!” he exclaimed. “I knew that Injecco was close, but this is incredible!” he observed me, watching my nails, then examining my teeth, then staring deep into my angry, wild eyes. I was still thrashing around when he started to push the table back into the wall, shutting me into darkness.
