"I'm sorry'" I said, slipping his shirt back on.
"It's fine. You didn't seem like the type'"
I didn't worry about my bra. It too far to walk shirtless.
He went into a room in the back of the house. He came back out with a pillow and some sheets.
"You can sleep on the couch" he said, putting the pillow and sheets on the couch.
He went back into room and I settled down to sleep on the couch.
The next morning, he got up and made some breakfast. I walked into the kitchen to talk to him.
"I would have done it. It's not that I don't like you. We just met the other day,"
"It's fine," he said getting out some plates.
He made us pancakes. We sat table and ate them. Everything seemed awkward. I really would have done it. Trust me. Dally was really sexy.
That day he walked me over to Buck Mryalls house. Him and Buck were buddies. I sat on Buck's couch and listen to them joke around. I smiled when they looked at me. Then Buck finally asked what I was waiting for.
"Who is this broad anyway?"
"Nevaeh," Dally told him, smiling at me, proving to me that he remembered my name now.
"He picked me up in New York. I was running away and I just, ran into him''
"She was running pretty fast too," Dally rubbed his chest. "Pretty hard hit"
I chuckled a bit. He continued to talk to Buck, and I sat wondering what it would have been like if we had gone all the way.
That day, we walked to the drive-in. There was no movie, but we sat in the seats in front of the screen and looked at the sky. He put his arm around my shoulder and I nestled my head against his shoulder. He didn't seem like the type to be nice , but he was nice to me. He must have really liked me.
I stood up.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"Come on'" I said grabbing his arm and leading him to the fence. I slid under and he followed me.
We walked to his house. When we got inside, he took off his jacket. I walked over to him and put my hand on his shoulder.
"Let's go all the way this," I whispered into his ear.
