Thursday, September 7th

Once she woke up, Rory did her morning routine and decided for an early morning jog. As she jogged around her block with the sun beaming down on her she got lost in her thoughts.

" Why are people so cruel?" She asked herself. "I have the body of a sex goddess as Jessa and Harper say, which I completely disagree with but I do trust their opinion, and I choose not to wear slutty skirts and revealing low cut tops but wear baggy sweats because I don't want that sort of attention. I don't want to be known for that. But why do people think I'm overweight? I mean I guess it doesn't help that I don't participate in Gym class but that is only cause you wear tight shorts and tight t-shirts which would reveal my secret to the school plus I don't need to as I keep myself in immaculate shape but they don't know that. And then because I study hard and are at the top of the class people label me as a geek when I just want to be successful in my life. People think all I do is study but they have it completely wrong on weekends I party so hard with the girls that I have hangovers that are non-stop all weekend. On weekends, I express myself and my love for fashion and weekends are the only time of the week I show my body off and show my face and make an effort with my appearance. I love getting dressed up. But no one knows so they assume I'm a just a lonely nerd. And lastly, they call me ugly just because I don't show my face! Like c'mon really? With the risk of sounding arrogant I'm far from ugly. Anyway, moving on I know the annual school musical is approaching and auditions start tomorrow! I can't wait! My teacher Mrs. Collingwood always wants me to have the lead but I refuse and ask for a small part as I don't like being in the spotlight at school but I want to contribute because acting is a passion of my along with fashion and dressmaking." She came back to reality and realized that if she didn't head back home and get dressed and grab her books now she would be late.

It was now lunch time at school. Rory was at the cafeteria with her salad as she always does. Which was another thing that baffled her. At school, she only ever ate healthy yet the people don't overlook it, their vision clouded with assumptions that she is fat.

She always sat at the back table of the cafeteria. Alone. Where she would either be on her phone talking to her girls or on her private Instagram page that no one at the school knew existed or working on assignments.

She began to giggle at Jessa and Harper's hilarious banter on their group convo ignoring the rolled balls of paper being thrown over her way, when she heard someone clear their throat. She ran her fingers through her naturally curly brown hair tucking it behind her ear showing her face so she could see who was there. When she looked up she was surprised to say the least to see who it was...

There stood Drake towering over her.

He wanted to thank her for saving their asses yesterday. He knew if she had told the truth they would have been in deep shit as the teachers were aware of the bullying, even witnessing it sometimes.

They were all surprised to say the least that she did something nice for them when they treat her the way they do but Drake knew the others wouldn't have the balls to say anything nice so he thought he could break his hard exterior for a second to thank you her. He felt a little nervous but didn't understand why, the captain of the basketball and football team who was quite popular would be intimidated by this girl that sat before him.

Standing there, he had to forget about his reputation and when he walked his way over to the very back table where no one sat except Rory, he could hear an increase in whispering but ignored it. He saw balls of paper being pegged at her but it didn't seem to faze her from her phone which was he found a bit sad that she was that used to it.
