Liam had called Brett right after him and his three friends over heard Scarlett's conversation with Adam. It took Brett forever to finally pick up the damn phone, but he did. By the sounds in his voice, it was obvious he had just woken up from sleeping.

"What is it, Liam?" Brett groaned.

"Is Satomi having a meeting with anyone tonight?" Liam asked quickly.

Brett was silent before Liam heard shuffling on the other end. "How did you find out about it? No one knows except for my pack." He was becoming defensive.

"Not important right now. Listen, the girl that's meeting up with Satomi tonight is going to our school, with at least a dozen or more teenagers who keep following her. We overheard her talking to someone in her group about meeting up with your Alpha. Can you try and find a way to get there and tell us what they're talking about?" Liam looked back at his friends as he heard nothing but silence on the other end.

Huffing, Brett agreed. "Fine, but you owe me Dunbar." After that the Beta hung up on Liam. The blonde wolf turned to is friends and nodded. The rest of them decided to go to Liam's house, seeing as they all wanted to be together when they were told the information by Brett.

The trio of supernatural creatures waited for one, two, three hours before Liam got a face time call from Brett. The camera was face the opposite direction of Brett's face, the volume and sound on mute. It was dark out, past midnight, but in the darkness the three people could see trees, like Brett was hiding out behind several other trees. In front of him, maybe fifteen to twenty feet, stood Satomi.

The older Alpha was holding clothes and waiting for something- someone. After five minutes of silence and darkness, the three could hear leaves crunching and twigs snapping as a pure black wolf emerged from the woods. It's eyes were bright, blazing red. Alpha red.

The wolf slowly turned, and the sound of bones crunching and shifting made everyone cringe, even Brett. When the wolf had turned back into a human the three teenagers (excluding Brett), saw Scarlett. The Scarlett from their school. The Scarlett that had a dozen kids following her.

Satomi didn't seemed fazed at the fact that a teenage girl had just turned from a wolf and back into a human. The woman handed Scarlett a pair of jeans and a sweater and waited patiently for her to change.

"You may be his sister and have similarities but you two definitely don't share that gift in common." Satomi said, hinting at the fact that Scarlett could change into a wolf.

Scarlett gave a sad smile. "I'm hoping to meet him one day, maybe when everything is over I can." She sighed. The audio was a bit fuzzy but they all heard her loud a clear.

Liam only had one question though. Who was her brother?

Steadying herself Scarlett sighed. "And I want to talk to you about my biological parents. I've heard from some people in the town that my mother is here? But I'm not sure what her name is or where she works? Is she even still alive?" Scarlett had many questions, as she should seeing as though her biological mother, the woman who gave her away, might still be living in this town.

"Your mother is indeed here. She works at the hospital as a nurse. Her name is Melissa McCall." From across the phone line Liam, Corey, and Mason froze.

Scarlett was Scott's sister. Melissa's daughter.

Brett must have shifted his weight and made some type of noise, because the next thing the three teens knew was that Brett was sprinting through the woods and trying to hide.  After a short while he hung up, but then a text came through from him.

From : Talbot
Sorry man, had to cut it short. Btw you still owe me.

Liam rolled his eyes. The fact that he owed Brett now didn't bother him, he was focused on the fact that Scott McCall, his Alpha, had a sister that no one seemed to know about. Not even himself.

Mason sighed, running his hands over his face. "So Scott has a sister that he didn't know about, and she can change from a normal looking, teenage girl into a full size black wolf? Great." He said. Him and Corey stood up. They should've been home hours ago, but they needed to find out the truth. "We'll see you tomorrow, Liam. Let us know if you somehow get more information." Mason said. Liam nodded and walked his friends to their car before going back to his room.

How was he supposed to explain all this to Hayden? He couldn't even get his head around it.

While Brett had gone running off into the woods and left Liam and his two friends with a horrible cliff hanger, Scarlett and Satomi were still discussing the issue at hand.

Scarlett's adoptive parents hunting them.

Scarlett had apologized at least a dozen times because she did feel bad for having to involve Satomi's pack in her problem, but the older woman only said that 'she would help her because her brother helped them.' Of course Scarlett didn't know what she meant, at least not yet.

They discussed why they were being hunted and how they were able to get rid of them - for now. After that they discussed tactics to get her pack to safety in case anything happened to Scarlett if and when her adoptive parents found her again. The conversation went on till around two in the morning, meaning Scarlett was only going to get an hour or two of sleep before she had be up and ready for school.

The two Alphas parted ways after their meeting and retreated back to their packs.  Scarlett went back home to her apartment complex, trying to be as quiet as possible to keep everyone asleep. She was never really tired. She had always tried to get some sleep, but no matter how hard she tried she was never able to sleep. At first she thought she had insomnia, but the night she changed, she knew it wasn't insomnia.

Heading to her bedroom she flicked on the light and headed to the shower. She need time to wrap her mind around what Satomi had told her. Her mother was alive, but did she even remember having Scarlett? How could you even forget having a child? She sighed, turning on the hot water and letting it wipe away everything she didn't want. The she-wolf looked down at her wrist, where to black bands were wrapped around her wrist. She hadn't ever gotten a tattoo, it just appeared there one day. When Satomi had told her about her brother's tattoo, she finally realized that whatever happened to him, happened to her. But did it work the other way as well?

Sighing in defeat she headed to the shower to get dirt and grass from her body. She sat in the shower for a while, probably longer than necessary. After drying her hair and getting herself dressed she finished the rest of her morning routine and went to get some breakfast.

Around five more of the pack started to wake up and get themselves ready as well. Adam trudged out of his room and into the kitchen, where Scarlett was making breakfast.

"How'd the meeting go last night?" He grumbled, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

Scarlett shrugged. "Fine. We talked about what we would have to do if you know who gets our location. Satomi said she'd take our pack and hide them within her own and protect them." Adam nodded, and Scarlett knew that he wanted to know about her mom. "And my mother is still alive, she works at the hospital here as a nurse." She sighed.

Adam smiled a bit. "So what are you going to do?" He asked.

Scarlett looked down at her food, sighing. "I don't know."
