Adam's head twisted around quickly as he heard the three teens walk to where Scarlett and him were standing. Well, it was more like where Adam and a giant black wolf were standing.

Scarlett was furious that two of her own team members had tried to hurt her on purpose. Of course, they had hurt her, but with her abilities, she had healed as soon as they walked into the school. She couldn't control her anger anymore, she finally lashed out. Before she and Adam had even made it into the girl's locker room, she was already shifting into her wolf form.

That's when Corey, Mason, and Liam had walked into the room. Their eyes had gone wide as they saw the giant wolf in the corner, teeth bared and eyes shining a bright red. Alpha red. Liam had to try and hold back the urge to shift his eyes. He took in a few deep breaths before turning towards Adam.

"What the hell is going on?" Liam asked, trying his hardest to stay calm. Scarlett growled at him. "Is that-?"

"Yes it's Scarlett, now calm your friends down, they're making Scarlett angry," Adam said, looking at the two boys that were practically hiding behind Liam.

The blonde boy turned to his friends, and he didn't even have to say anything to them, they just walked out of the locker rooms and waited in the hallway.

Adam looked down at Scarlett and nodded. Something told Liam that somehow Adam and Scarlett were having a conversation, but without opening their mouths. Before Liam could get a single word out, he heard bones cracking and breaking. His blue eyes wondered down to where the wolf was and watched in horror and amazement as the black wolf, transformed back into the teenage girl.

Scarlett looked as if she was in pain after switching back and forth from her human state to her wolf state. She groaned as she rolled her neck and relaxed her tensed muscles. Adam walked over to what Liam presumed was Scarlett's locker, pulled out some clothes, and handed them to her. Somehow, Liam hadn't noticed that mafter Scarlett had shifted, she wasn't wearing a single piece of clothing.

Adam gave him a look, pretty much telling him to look away or else. So, Liam looked down at his feet, until he heard Scarlett cough and then he raised his head to look at the girl. She was now wearing sweats and a t-shirt.

"Ask your questions, Dunbar, I know you have plenty." Scarlett said after she tucked her hair behind her her ear. Liam did his best to keep his heart rate steady and his breathing even.

"What are you?"

"Isn't it obvious? I'm an Alpha, a True Alpha."

Liam stood there for a moment, eyes wide. Scarlett's eyes and changed from their natural color to the familiar red he saw with Scott's eyes. In a way, the two had the same eyes, human and supernatural.

"How? How is that possible?" Liam asked, looking between Scarlett and Adam.

"I think you already know the answer to that, Liam." The boy looked at Scarlett with a confused expression. "You were there when I met with one of the Alphas here. I could smell you and your friends."

Liam looked down. He hadn't realized that she would be able to smell him, even with how far they were from her.

As Liam was trying to figure out what to say, he could hear the team coming back into the school. Scarlett sighed, rubbing her temples. "You two should go, go get dressed." She said, bending down and gathering her clothes.

Adam had left, leaving Liam with Scarlett. "I know who your mother is." He said, making Scarlett look up at him.

"We will talk more about this later." Was all she said in response. Liam nodded and walked out of the girls locker room and back into the boys.

Scarlett had driven her back home, trying to focus more on their needs than her own. They are her first priority.

The pack must have felt the tension and uneasiness in the car, making Jake speak up. "Are you going to see him tonight?" Scarlett looked into the rearview mirror, raising an eyebrow at Jake. "That boy, Liam. Are you going to see him tonight?" Jake asked again.

Scarlett sighed and looked back at the road. "I don't know yet." She mumbled.

"I think you should. Maybe he can help you set up a date to meet your mom, maybe even your brother." Lilly stated. Scarlett shrugged. She really didn't know what she was going to do right now. She had so much happening with the hunters and her brother and her mom, she didn't know how to balance all of this.

The rest of the drive back to their apartments were quiet. Scarlett watched to make sure that everyone would get in safely. Adam turned around after he noticed that Scarlett hadn't gotten out yet. "What are you thinking about, Scar?" He asked, walking over to the drivers seat window and leaning against it.

Scarlett sighed. "I'm going back to the school to talk to Liam about my mom, maybe even my brother." Adam gave her a worried look. "I have to get more information, I have to know who they are before I meet them." Her friend nodded. Adam reached out and placed his hand on the back of Scarlett's head, pulling her in and kissing her forehead.

"Just be careful please. We can't lose another alpha." Scarlett nodded and pulled away from the boy. He watched her drive back off, and sighed. When he turned around Lilly was standing there with her arms crossed.

"When are you going to tell her your true feelings, Adam?" She asked. Adam gave her a glare, before he walked both of them inside and to their apartment. He did have some strong feelings for Scarlett, but he wasn't sure how she felt about him. Maybe she only saw him as a best friend, maybe she didn't. Adam wouldn't get the answer to those questions unless he asked her, and he definitely was not going to ask her.

Scarlett drove back down to the school, hoping that Liam and his friends were still there. She pulled up into the school parking lot, taking in a deep breathe as she parked the car. Before getting out she reached into the glove compartment and pulled out a gun. Even if she was a werewolf, she still wanted to have the power of a gun on her side if she ran into any hunters. She put the weapon under her shirt and covered it, then walked towards the school in hopes of finding Liam and his pack.

The alpha walked around until she reached the library, where she hear many voices. She walked forwards, opening the doors and walking into the room. There weren't a lot of kids, but there were enough there to overwhelm her senses. Her eyes scanned the library until she found Liam and his friends sitting at one of the tables. They were all studying together, and the sight made Scarlett want to turn back around and go home, but she knew she needed answers. Sucking in a deep breathe she walked forwards to their table, and stood at the end of it. They all looked up simultaneously, their wide eyes landing on Scarlett.

"Tell me what you know about my mother." Scarlett said. "And my brother Scott McCall."
