Scarlett couldn't deny the fact that she was distracted as her and her pack drove down to the high school. She knew that they all wanted to ask about the night before, whether or not she had gotten the answers she wanted or not. But they wanted to respect not only their Alpha's privacy, but their friends privacy.

Once everyone had arrived on school grounds they split in the directions of their classes. Scarlett walked with Adam and Lily, who were worried about how distracted Scarlett was as she walked through the school halls.

"Scarlett!" Someone yelled out, catching not only the Alpha's attention but her two friends. Adam and Lily stood in front of her protectively as Liam, Hayden, Corey, and Mason came sprinting up to the trio. The other four teens noticed how they stood in front of her like body guards. Scarlett shook her head at her friends and stepped in front of them.

"What is it- uh...?" Scarlett in complete honesty, didn't remember this kids name, but for some reason he remembered hers.

"Liam." The blonde boy said quickly. "I uh.. just wanted to see how you and your... friends were doing here. Since ya know, it's only your second day here and you've already had a lot put on your shoulders." Scarlett listened to his heart beat, noticing how it sped up and also how he started to sweat more.

"I'm fine, thanks I guess. And I don't know what you mean by having a lot of weight on my shoulders? I'm just the captain of the Lacrosse team, nothing else is going on in my life." Now Liam was trying to listen to hers. Key word trying. He listened for it to speed up or stop for a second, but the longer he listened the less he heard. It was almost like she didn't have a heartbeat to begin with.

Mason kept staring at Adam,  eyes wide and fixed onto him like he was a Greek statue. Corey elbowed his boyfriend, raising an eyebrow at him and then looking back at the trio of wolves.

"Well- I guess we'll see you guys around." Adam said quickly, grabbing Scarlett's wrist from behind him. Liam went to say something but the three were already walking down the halls and to their classes.

As Scarlett sat in her classes, her mind kept replaying the awkward conversation she had with Liam and his three friends. She couldn't stop thinking about the way his heart sped up, or the way his eyes darted between her friends and his. What was he so nervous about? What was he even doing asking her all those questions? The kid doesn't even know who she is.

During the classes that Scarlett had with those four, weird kids, she tried to stay as calm as possible, which was easy for her, but she could tell those four kids had it harder than her. During French, Corey quickly found a spot next to or at least close to the Alpha. Corey wanted to know more about her, more specifically, why he could see that dark silhouette around her.

Class started as usual with roll call, but something seemed different about Scarlett. She didn't participate in any of the activities for the day, she just looked down at her notebook, doodling the same thing over and over again. Two circles, one small one in the middle, and a larger one on the outside.

Corey thought that looked familiar, then he remembered Scott's tattoo and what it originally was. Two circles.

"Miss. Chasseur, are you still with us?" Mrs. Morrell asked. Scarlett's head lifted, and you could see that she was off in her own little world. She nodded anyways, and Mrs. Morrell went back to teaching.

By the end of class Scarlett had gone through an entire sheet of paper with the two circles on it. When she was packing her things up, Mrs, Morrell saw the doodles and sighed.

"I'm guessing you found some things out last night?" She asked. Scarlett nodded. "If you need to, my brothers door is always open down at the vet. He'd be more than happy to talk to you about everything." She offered.
