All across the districts, parents are huddled crying, then hoping, begging, pleading to neighbors to not to enter their child. Because who would willingly fight to the death?
Glisten Jerez is a fighter. She should be as coming from district one; she's literally trained her whole life for this. And so what if the other tributes were chosen by their district itself? It just means more fun for her.
Trained in spear and mace, she's strong, tough, and has a temper to match. But will that get her in trouble? Of course not. Nothing and no one will stand in her way...even if she has to kill every single one of them.
"Our district always chose the tributes, anyone be even the dumbest person could see that. But this is the only time the world would know. There's more than just honor on the line, bitch."
