Hayley and I walked into the courtyard, seeing servants carrying decorations and balloons. I looked up at Klaus and he smiled down at me.

"We were heading out and now we're throwing a party, I see," I said.

"One that will be attended by New Orleans most influential creatures," Klaus told us.

"You do realize that everyone hates you," Hayley told him.

"But they love Marcel and as the invite states, he is the co-host," Klaus replied. I chuckled barely, looking down with a smirk. "Tonight, we celebrate our truce."

"So, you're throwing a fake party in honor of a fake truce and your guest of honor is in a dungeon," Hayley replied.

Klaus walked downstairs towards us. "Marcel's attendance would only complicate matters. Besides, I'll have my hands full weeding out those in league with The Hollow."

This piqued my interest. "I hope you weren't planning on excluding me from this diabolical plan of yours."

"On the contrary, my love, I expect you by my side," Klaus smiled. "Looking like a goddess."

I smiled back at him.

"Have fun with it," Hayley told us. "Hope's with Mary and I'm just looking for Freya."

"What do you need of her?" Klaus asked.

"Just a favor," Hayley answered.

Klaus turned around to face us, raising his brows.

"Don't worry," I told him. "I'll take her to see Freya and then I'll come back and no doubt, find the dress you have already picked out for me."

Klaus chuckled.

Hayley and I walked out as I took her to where I knew Freya would be.

Hayley and I went to Rousseau's where we found Freya sitting at the bar with Keelin? I furrowed my brows in confusion when I saw them together. I thought Keelin left?

Some time later, Keelin was playing darts while Hayley, Freya and I remained at the bar. I sensed there was something between Keelin and Freya, they seemed to have an actual friendship, maybe something more.

"I like her, for what it's worth," I told Freya.

Freya chuckled, looking down. "Uh, all the same, I should've told you she was still here. I'm sorry I didn't."

"Well, you can make up for it by doing me a favor," I replied. "Hayley learned about the man who killed her parents. My grandfather . . . he was connected to The Hollow."

Freya looked at us with concerned curiosity.

"I was just a baby when they were killed, I don't remember it but I do know where they were killed," Hayley told her. "I was hoping maybe with your spells and your witchcraft . . . "

Freya nodded, knowing what we wanted. "You want me to do a reading? Hayley, violent death has a very specific energy. I could conjure up whatever there is to see, but you may not like it."

"I don't think I have a choice," Hayley said.

The party had started, the compound was completely decorated with balloons on the walls and the fleur-de-lis everywhere, even as an ice sculpture. There was a jazz band playing and the courtyard was full of guests mingling.
