Troy grabbed one of his boxes from the moving truck, & headed into the apartment. As he stepped inside, something felt off. Tory could tell this was going to take getting used to. There was so many stairs. How did the old tenants survive this torture. Once Troy got to the bedrooms, he stopped. He couldn't decide what room he wanted to check out first. Troy chose the room closest to him. There was something about this room that spoke to him. Troy looked around, and noticed random cat stickers on the wall. Troy liked the stickers, they added a uniqueness to the room. Troy checked out the bed frame. It was broken, so his dad was going to have to fix it. He had to make sure he remembered to tell him. Troy placed the box in the middle of the floor, and noticed something stuck to the ceiling. It looked like a piece of paper. The old tenants must have been giants,... How did they get it up there?! Troy tried to figure out a way to get it down. He needed something to stand on, & something to grab the note with. He tried to figure out what he had, that would work. He couldn't think of anything. He went to see what his parents had brought into the apartment so far. It was pretty bare still. Troy would have to wait till all the boxes were brought in. He decided to go grab another box from the truck. His parents were in the kitchen, having a heated discussion. Troy knew this was going to be hard on everyone. He wished things could be easier. It took a couple hours to finish unloading the truck. Troy didn't realize how much stuff he had. He decided to organize his stuff into three piles: keep, donate, & throw out. Troy knew most of this stuff was either going to be donated or thrown out. He wanted a fresh start. He didn't want to keep too many memories from home. It would just make things harder on him. Troy felt the jet lag setting in, so he decided to put his bed together. Troy knew he wasn't going to sleep much, but he wanted to relax. All Troy could think about was the note. He wondered who had written it. He thought about the old tenants. He wondered what they were like. Troy felt a family hadn't lived here. It was too small for a family to live comfortably. Maybe it was two brothers or maybe two friends. Troy's parents came to his door, which inturupted his thoughts. Good night Tory, try to get some sleep. We have a lot of unpacking to do tomorrow! Troy said goodnight, then closed his door. He couldn't wait to find out who had written the note. He hoped it would give him clues as to who lived here before!
