"Where is she?"

My heart pumped out of my chest as a single thought raced through my mind.

Someone's finally come for me!

I rattled the chains and called out. "Hey! I'm here!"

Nikolai chuckled from somewhere above me. "And what makes you think that you can enter my house like this? I'm still one of your higher ups you know. Besides, I could easily eradicate you and leave poor little (Y/n) in the shadows of where she's at. You forget that I'm the Angel of Darkness and could snap my fingers to have your head rolling at my feet."

"Like I'd leave my friend to die like that! I should've never allowed her job to be switched! It was stupid on my part." Solaris' voice could easily be heard and although a small part of me was hoping it was Joshua to save me, I was still grateful someone had come.

"Before I destroy you, may I ask how you knew she was here? I daresay that it was you who had that bird trailing her. Oh well, somethings are just flawed, but I'll come out on top still. As if one measly little bird could stop me," Nikolai said. I could imagine his smug face as he glowered down at Solaris.

She's in trouble... And it's all my fault...

You shouldn't have come here Solaris...

There was a loud series of footsteps and I heard her scream and sprung up to my feet, almost being yanked down by the chains. Pulling against the them, I shouted at the top of my lungs, feeling them ache slightly from the volume.

"SOLARIS! SOLARIS ARE YOU STILL THERE!" I heard nothing but there was the sound of something that sounded vaguely like a body hitting the ground and my face paled. She wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for me. This is all my fault...

There was a loud crash and the sound of glass breaking that made my head snap up. There was an aggravated shout from Nikolai as a low, inhumane growl could be heard from him. It made a chill run down my spine. I continued to struggle against the chains, desperately trying to go to whoever was here. The chains didn't budge before, so why'd I expect them to be loose now?

"I'M HERE!" I shouted.

There was the sound of a vase shattering against the hard floor as someone rushed the other, sending them both crashing to the ground. There were screams from both, one o which was Nikolai, the other, was a male, who I was unable to hear fully over Nikolai.
"You dare show your face here! I'll show you what happens to those who oppose me!" There was a swish of air and the crackle of a fire as something must have lit on fire. Another explosion-- no, this wasn't an explosion. It seemed so familiar, but I couldn't quite place my finger on it. The house seemed to shake from the large amounts of imagination coming from the two males as I leaned on the wall for support. Small pieces of rock fell from the ceiling.

There was a soft voice which I couldn't quite make out, but it made Nikolai stop for a second, before that swooshing sound could be heard, as something came crashing down above me, causing me to cover my ears. Nikolai let out a loud string of curses that could probably be heard for miles, as there were more crackling sounds from above. Someone began to run in a direction, throwing open doors left and right, causing them to slam into the wall. I shouted out again, hoping the person could hear me and felt the choker, or rather, the collar shock me slightly, like a warning to stop.

Footsteps approached the area I was at and the cell door flung open, making me squint at the bright light that flooded in from beyond the door. At first I could only see the outline of someone with neat, angelic wings. But as the person walked up to me, tears flooded my eyes as I held my hands up to my mouth.
