"Fall? You mean that they've decided to get involved with him? So this means he'll be marked as a Fallen, right?"
Solaris nodded, twirling the straw in her iced tea with her finger.
"Yeah, the Producer in Shinjuku actually mentioned it to the Archangels. The Producer there was saying that there was a spotting of Nikolai and that he was controlling the Taboo Noise in the area to attack nearby Reapers and even the Composer," Solaris said. I raised an eyebrow.
"The Composer of Shinjuku? What use would Nikolai have with him?" I asked, pondering the idea. If Nikolai was able to get a Composer on his side, then that would make it difficult for the Angels to get to him. But if he was wanting the power, then he'd have to spend most of his time in Shinjuku, which wasn't a city known for the greatest things.
"Who kno-" Solaris was cut off by the doorbell ringing. She excused herself and stood up, walking silently over to the door, which she gingerly opened. She spoke to the person before turning towards me. Beckoning me with her hand, I stood up and walked over to the door, and saw a messenger from the Archangels. He had the slick white uniform with golden pins and tags pinned to the front of his dress coat, and golden buttons, with a fancy design on them.
"You must be Miss (Y/n) (L/n), currently assigned a position in Shibuya, yes? Well, the Archangels would like to request that you give this letter to the Producer in Shibuya as soon as possible." The man handed me a white letter that was sealed with red wax. In fancy cursive writing on the front, was Mr. Hanekoma's name.
"Sure. I'll deliver this to him when I go back to Shibuya," I said, running my finger over the edge of the sealed envelope. I was curious as to what was inside but I wouldn't open it since it wasn't mine.
"Very well. I will alert the Archangels of your decision. Thank you for being considerate as to take this letter and give it to Sanae Hanekoma. I am aware that you two are close, even though he is a Fallen Angel. The Archangels didn't want to, but had to give him that title. Personally, I would've done the same thing as him if a Composer decided to destroy a city. I would do anything to keep it safe. Well, I must be going. Goodbye for now, Miss (Y/n), and Miss Solaris." The Angel left, disappearing in a bright light that caused him to vanish from sight.
"I didn't expect him to talk for that long about something off-topic. He usually just does whatever the Archangels say and keeps to himself most of the time," Solaris commented, staring at the spot where he was once standing. I nodded and thought. It's true that when Joshua made the decision to destroy Shibuya, Mr. Hanekoma had taught a Game Master, Sho Minamimoto, how to make Taboo Noise to try and stop the Composer in case he really did try to destroy it. On top of that, he unknowingly interfered with a Game, which he wasn't supposed to do. Most Angels thought what he did was brave to attempt something that would take away his Angel status, while others thought he was an idiot. Honestly, I would've done the same if I had the role as Producer.
"Yeah, well, I better go and deliver this otherwise the Archangels will get on my case about how I didn't bring it to him in the time that they wanted." Solaris laughed lightly at this and placed a hand on my shoulder. I smiled and carefully held the letter in my hands, not wanting to damage it in any way.
"I know the feeling, believe me," Solaris laughed. "But patch things up with Joshua, alright? I know that neither of you meant whatever you both said at each other." My smile faded slightly and the nod of my head was so faint, ghost-like. It was a silly fight and I started it by pushing at Joshua about his past...
"OK, I'll talk to you later then."
I left Solaris' house and walked down the street, past other Angel's who were walking with friends down the neighborhood. Focusing on my frequency, I mentally pushed away my wings and traveled through the planes, back into the RG and into WildKat, where Mr. Hanekoma had his back towards me, as he was working on a coffee machine.
