He didn't respond right away. "Will you love her right?" He asks. "Of course," I respond. "Will you remain loyal to her?" He continues. "Yes. She is my life. I can't imagine loving someone else." I reply. He paused again. "I give you my consent." He says. I breathe a sigh of relief. "Thank you so much, sir!" I exclaim. "You're welcome." I click off my phone and smile. I decide to go and get an engagement ring at a nearby jewelry store. I look around for a little bit and finally found the perfect ring for her.

I hope she likes it, I thought. Buying the ring and box, I put it in my pocket and drive to the nearest Chinese place.

I wonder what is taking Travis so long, I thought. He's probably looking for good food, I replied to myself. "So, Katlyn, how long have you dated Travis?" Mr. Caleb asks me. "Well, I think a month or so but I've lost my perception of time," I tell him. He chuckles. Sasha, Caleb, and I talked for a few more minutes until Travis arrived with the FOOD! I was so hungry, so I hungrily (yet politely) dove into my chicken. After I finished, I ate my rice. "Wow, Baby. You were hungry." Travis notes. I nod. "I forgot lunch," I said. He laughs. We all talk for an hour or two when a nurse knocked on our door.
"I'm so sorry, visiting hours are over." She informs us. "Alright. See you later, mom and dad. I love you guys." Travis says. His parents chime in with 'I love you's and 'See you latter's
Travis grabs my hand and leads me through the hospital. When we got back o the room, I opened my suitcase and grabbed my swimsuit. "I'm going to swim. Care to join me?" I asked. "Sure. just one second." He said. I walked into the bathroom and changed into my swimsuit. We walked down to the pool. The water was warm and I floated on my back for a while. When I opened my eyes after a while, I saw Travis staring at me. "Watchya doin'?" I asked. "Oh, just admiring your beauty from afar." He answered. He made me blush. He swam closer to me. "You're cute when you blush." He says. I smile. He comes even closer and brushes a strand of hair away from my face. "You know I love you, right? More than anything?" He asks. "You couldn't have asked a more obvious question," I replied. He smiled. He put his hand on my cheek and pulled me into a kiss. After he pulled away, he smirked. "I bet you can't catch me." He challenged. "Challenge accepted." He turned around and started swimming the other direction.
I smiled and swam after him. Since I do swim team, I thought it would be easy. It wasn't. I chased him around the pool for what seemed like forever. I finally got a hold of his shoulders. "You got me." He said. We got out and dried off. "So what took you so long getting the food?" I asked. "I couldn't find the right place. And when I got in, there was a long line." He said. I yawned. "I'll sleep on the couch tonight," I said. "We can trade off, I get the bed one night and you get the bed the next." He offered. "Sounds good," I said.
We got up to the hotel room and watched some Once Upon A Time. Travis fell asleep halfway through the second episode. I looked at him and smiled. Just one more episode, I told myself.
