(Travis already moved most of his stuff)
Travis
Katelyn and I sit on the couch together watching Netflix. Honestly, I'm super happy Katelyn wanted me to move in with her.
She didn't want you to. She just said yes because Dante already got your hopes up.
You don't know that.
Yes, I do.
How?
I could see it on her face.
I'm sure she would've said something.
Doubt it.
"H-hey, um, Travis?"
"Yeah?"
"I-I forgot about one thing..." She pauses and lightly blushes. "A-are we going to sleep in the same bed in the same room or did you want your own room? I mean I didn't think it was too late to ask since you still have some boxes left..." She continues.
"Whatever you are comfortable with, I am one-hundred-percent ok with."
"Oh ok good... 'cuz I already planned you'd sleep outside..." She looked at me and laughed. "I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding." She smiles at me.
"You can choose what you think is best."
"I mean I don't mind s-sharing a room." She blushes more and I smile.
"If you don't mind, then I don't either." I grin back at her. "How come you sounded so shy when you asked?"
"Well, it's kinda hard asking someone if they want to sleep with you."
"Fair point."
She only asked because she hoped you would offer to sleep in your own room.
Go away.
Don't be afraid of the truth, Travis.
I'm not afraid, I just don't want to listen to nonsense.
You'll understand what I mean sooner or later.
Katelyn scoots closer to me, leaning her body against mine with her legs laying out in the opposite direction and her head laying on my shoulder. I slipped my arm behind her neck and held her close to me. She sighs quietly and I rub her arm slightly with my thumb.
"I have to go to the store soon, is there anything you want me to get you?"
"Cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, taco meat, and tortillas, please."
"You just want stuff for tacos, huh?"
"You know me so well." I smile. Katelyn stands up and begins to walk towards the door, but I gently grab her arm, stand up, and pick her up bridal style. "You didn't say you were leaving now," I say with a small childish whine.
"I'm leaving now." She replied humorously. I sat back down on the couch with her on my lap and she spun so she was facing me.
"Not without a goodbye kiss, you aren't," I said as I leaned forward and pressed my lips against hers. Her eyes fluttered closed and she returned the kiss. I had my hands on her waist and she grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me closer to her, deepening the kiss and closing the little bit of space between us. I gently wrapped my arms around her waist, enjoying the moment. She placed her hands on the sides of my face and ran her fingers through my hair.
Katelyn
"Travis... I have to get to the store soon..." I reminded him in between kisses.
"Mmm... the store can wait."
I paused and laid my forehead against his.
"Not if we don't have enough food."
"Go later. I want cuddles."
"We can cuddle after the store."
"Aww..."
"I promise." I give him a peck on the lips and slide off of his lap onto the couch before standing up and grabbing my purse.
"Noooo don't leave!" Travis playfully whines.
"You can come with if you want," I laugh.
"Yay!" He smiles and walks toward me, sliding on his shoes and opening the front door, gesturing for me to go first. "Ladies first."
"Thanks, Travis," I say with a giggle. We walk out to my car and I get in the driver's seat while he gets in the passenger seat. Talking his hand in mine, I reverse out of the driveway to the store.
Haia guys~!
Sorry that this is really short. I felt really bad for not updating in a long time, so I wanted to get something out soon. I hope this is enough, I tried to make it cute :3
I was going somewhere with Travis's other thoughts, the negative ones, but it's getting confusing so I'm going to stop with that. Sorry again for not updating. I hope I'll update more often.
Peace!
