chapter 19: the last chapter

3 months later

Ayo's pov

Life has been going pretty great. We making money, I'm taking care of my child and my future wifey, Jamie. Yea we back together again. Jahmiah always ask me when he can have a real mommy, and I say soon. It always breaks my heart cuz Vanessa never treated him well.

She was one crazy bitch.

"Ayo, I gotta tell you something." Teo says with a serious tone. 

"Yea."

"So you remember that one time we had a house party and -"

"Yea bro don't remind me what happened." I say.

"Well, that girl that you had sex with that caused Jamie to break up with you-"

"Ok what about that?" I say cutting him off.

"Well, I kinda paid the ho to have sex with you cuz I had feelings for Jamie..."

I'm shook. I can't believe my own brother would do that to me.

"Why did you do all these things?" I ask.

"I honestly don't know, I wasn't thinking. And I guess I was sorta jealous of you. Mom and Dad always liked you better than me." Teo says. 

"Get out."

"What?" He says surprised. 

"Get out, I don't want a liar living in my house. "

"Wtf Ayo how you just gonna do that to me?"

"Leave and I'll talk to you when I'm ready."

He mad angry comments at himself while stuffing his clothes in his suitcase. He left door and for months I didn't bother calling him. And then the day I finally did, we started arguing over more dumb shit and called off 'ayo and teo'.

We do our own business now. Sometimes people would book the both of us at same parties but we didn't wanna see each other, so one of us would leave, or the both of us.  Our friends have hard times hanging out with us too.

epilogue  

Ayo has gone back to collage after the duo ended. He got a degree in arts and now owns his own studio company and he's making good money now. Him and Jamie got married and Teo was invited to the wedding but he never came. Jahmiah has a baby sister coming soon. 

Teo has continued his career as a dancer but stopped making music cuz no one would listen to it without ayo in it.
