chapter 11: Management

2 weeks after the breakup

Jamie's pov 

I cried for like 2 days. The whole time imprint and I watched family guy and ate tacobell and hot fires. He told me about some of his past relationships too and he's wild bruh. But today we are in New York cuz they abouta get signed to Columbia records (So proud of them btwww).

I took a shower and put on a silk lace tank top with a long black cardigan. I wore some dark blue jeans and some black heels. I grab my backpack and I go downstairs. 

I haven't talked to Ayo since that breakup and I'm fine now but I don't know about him. Sometimes when I use the bathroom at night, I gotta walk pass his room and I be hearing sniffling and shit. But it's his own fault for cheating on me. I still angry cuz every relationship I've ever been in, I always get hurt so I break up with them first to try to make myself feel better but it don't really work. 

Just don't try that boo. 

 We all in the city right now and I went with Ayo and Teo to Columbia records, while Key and imprint went..... somewhere. Cory went back home and told me I could just take over for them. At first I was kinda like 'tf you just gon leave me here' but he checks up on us every week. And he said I'll just get paid extra for doing this by myself. 

Soooo blah blah blah they get signed and they take pictures and now they in the elevator, leaving the building. 

I turn around and I look at the guys. 

"I'm so proud of ya'll. Done came a long way." I say with my voice cracking at the end. I join the all 3 of us in my group hug. 

"Come on let's go to the shopping center and celebrate." I give a big smile and leave the building. 

Ayo's pov 

I feel...better today. I mean I just got signed to the same company as Beyonce. We join in a group hug and that just made me realize how much I miss her hugs. 

I just miss her to be honest. 

But I guess she over me cuz she ain't talk to me for a while. Ima try to fix it with her so maybe we'll just be friends and then eventually get back together.  I still love her. 

Teo's pov  

I waited this long for her to be back to her normal self, without Ayo. I know you guys are thinking 'Mateo is such a bad brother' but he messed up one of my relationships too. The girl cheated on me with Ayleo and he got her pregnant. Then, she just left with the baby. I just lied and said she got an abortion. The girl name is Vanessa by the way. So he don't even know he got a child. 💀

But now I finally have a chance. I do feel somewhat bad cuz my bro been crying every night. Must really love her I guess. But ima spoil her fine ass today.

Ayo's pov 

They spent the whole fucking day together. Mateo just bought her whatever she wanted and she ain't even ask for him to buy it for her. But it's whatever I guess. It look like she moving on. I'm walking to her room right now cuz I wanna fix this no talking-to-each-other-thing. 

She on her bed watching netflix wearing some booty shorts and one of my sweaters. Aww she look cute in it. Maybe she still like me.

"Hey." I say nervously. 

"Hi." She looks up and shuts down her laptop. She puts it on the desk and sits up, crossing her legs. 

"I know I made a mistake. And I know I can't fix it. But ion want us to stop talking to each other. Can you give me another chance? I promise I won't fuck it up. I love you so much. You been on my mind all these days." 

"Ayo you know I can't do that. Why would I give you another chance just to do the same thing again?" 

"please baby I'm lost without you." I plead. 

"Then if you wanna prove yourself, we just gon be friends until I can trust you again. I would've never give you a second chance but you special to me."  She gets up and pulls me into a hug that I've waited so long for. 

Not just a group hug. 

It felt so nice to have my arms around her again. She make me feel complete. She looks up into my eyes and stares at me intensively. I can feel the tension in the room. She leans in and I lean in with her. Her lips are so soft. 

I know she still feel some type of way for me. 

"Friends aren't suppose to kiss each other." I say. 

She doesn't respond and she leaves the room to go downstairs for a chill day with the bros. 

"Your'e not getting this sweater back." She turns around and smirks.

Teo's pov

I sneak and look through the crack in the door. Damn they kissed? I fr thought my plan would work but I guess I need something else. But ima just do me and ima love and treat her like a wifey. And then maybe she'll notice I'm actually the one for her, not Ayo.
