Chapter 38

Rose's P.O.V.

We all went outside to start our training again and I was prepared for anything to happen. When she said that there was going to be surprise attacks from now on I started to get nervous and jumpy. I love that she gave us all a fair warning though because if she didn't I wouldn't even think about surprise attacks. Emmett and I went to our group and the training began.

Our first group is with Charlie and he is a tough fighter when it comes to training. He does not train easily on us. I think he even tries to be meaner to us when we train with him. I think it has to do with us being his baby girls mates. Anyway he could have been alittle easier on us on that first day though.

"Okay so today I'm going to shift and your going to attack me like I showed you all yesterday." He said and then we heard the bones breaking and rearranging into his wolf form.

He stood in the middle of us all and he looked right at Emmett to start it off. Emmett looked nervous but he stepped up anyway and prepared himself for the attack. Charlie nodded his head so Emmett began.

Emmett walked around him slowly and when he thought that Charlie wasn't paying close enough attention he went in for the attack. Emmett wrapped his arms around his neck from his back and started to squeeze alittle bit. After he had his arms locked into place he wrapped his legs around his body and knocked Charlie's legs out from under himself and took him down to the ground. After his legs were locked into place he applied alittle pressure and then he let go when they were like that for a minute. Emmett let go of his hold and stood up. He looked down at Charlie and Charlie have him a nod of approval. Charlie then looked at me and it was my turn.

I stepped up and looked him in the eyes and then started to walk around him slowly. He was following my every move with his eyes and would slowly turn around when I was behind him. I change directions and notice that he has a weak spot. I quickly turn the other way again and then turn back and take his weak spot down. I launch myself at him and easily wrap my arms like I'm supposed to and locked them into place. I threw myself up with my legs and got them wrapped around where they should be and lock them into place also. I use all of my strength and throw him to the ground and a minute later I stand up and walk back over to Emmett.

Emmett greets me with open arms so I accept it and return the hug. I feel a nudge on my back and turn around to see Charlie with pride in him eyes. I think he just accepted us as his daughter's mates.

Bella's P.O.V.

"Okay Edward let's start off easy and then I'm going to be rough with you. First off lets warm up and gradually turn into more training." I say to him once I pull him far enough away for us to train.

He nods his head and gets into a ready position. I nod my head at him and he runs forward to start the attack. I block his hit and he runs right into a tree. Okay so this isn't going to be easy.

"Okay I'm going to try something different. I'm going to hand you a bandanna and your going to cover your eyes with it. You are then going to use your vampire senses and attack me with only those. I'll be easy on you at first but then I'm stepping it up." I say while tying the bandanna around his head. He nods his head and I step back to let him begin his attack again.

He actually surprises me and takes me down on the first attack. I knew I would help him somehow. After he has me on the ground he gets up and I stand back up and smirk at him, he doesn't know what he's just got himself into.

"Okay bring it." Is all I say and he comes running right at me and I smirk and hide my scent.

He looks confused for a second before he smirks and runs at me. I accidentally stepped on a stick and you could here it as clear as day. I jump up as soon as he was coming at me but he grabbed my foot in midair and brought me back to the ground hard. I get up instantly and get down into an attack position. When he's trying to find me I take that as my advantage and jump on his back and wrap my arms around his neck for the kill. I apply pressure and then let's go.
