1 minute later...
Ricky walked towards the bathtub with a new midnight blue maid's dress. Aris is sitting in the tub with the bubble-covered water right under her shoulders. Ricky placed the dress on the bed behind the tub. "So.....Aris." Ricky said. "Where are you from?" "The forests of Little Rock." Aris replied softly, looking behind her. "It isn't actually in Little Rock. We once lived near an actual little rock in the center of the forest. But, the Military burned the forest down, killing the millions of animals that lived their. My family and I tried to escape, but we were taken to the Scotland prisons. We were on the U.M.F.U.'s most wanted list. I tried to escape with my family, but it was too late for them. They were already executed in the concentration camps of New England." "That's very tragic." Ricky said sincerely. "It hurts you deeply, doesn't it?" "Even more than deeply." Aris said softly. "But, I must remember that they're with God. Feeling eternal happiness." She's definitely unusual. Ricky thought. An optimistic wolf living within a dictatorship...? Crazy. "Are you okay?" Aris asked, extremely heartedly. "I'm fine!" Ricky cried. "It's just that I've never seen anyone so cheerful. Especially when it's in a dictatorship! Didn't you say that the U.M.F.U. is opposed to happiness?!?" "I did." Aris said, sinking her neck into the water. "But, their rules are more seditious than sedition itself. They don't care for happiness. They, as I've said before, only care about absolute power. As well as torturing the innocent. But, we have God. He's our light in dark times." "That's......deep." Ricky said. "People who have little concern for homeless children DO care about power only." "Yes... God would never have wanted this." Aris sighed. "Neither would I..."
Meanwhile...
Colonel Martinson, who is accompanied by numerous soldiers, knelt down and picked up a thin piece of white fur on the ground in the front of alley. "She was here." He said, sounding completely emotionless. "Sir, we've found a bunker." One of the soldiers said. Colonel Martinson turned and looked at the steel door. "Search the bunker!" He ordered. "And, shoot anyone who resists!" "Yes, sir." The soldiers said.
Back inside the bunker...
Aris had put on the midnight blue dress a couple of minutes later. She is sitting on one of the beds inside the bunker while Ricky paced back and forth. "Why are you pacing?" Aris asked politely. "I just don't know what to do with you." Ricky sighed. "I mean, I can't just leave you to the Military, but I don't wanna get involved either. I've dealt with enough already..." "You mean your Grandparents?" Aris asked. Ricky immediately stopped pacing and stared at Aris intensely. "How....do you know about me??!" He asked in shock and discomfort. "Have you been stalking me, Aris?!" "I haven't stalked you, I swear!" Aris cried. "Then, how do you know about me and my Grandparents?!" Ricky snapped, confused and distressed. Before Aris could answer, she heard murmuring voices and radio chatter. "What's that noise?" Ricky asked. One of the voices said, "Search every inch of this bunker." Oh, no. Aris thought fearfully. They're here! She lightly grabbed Ricky's arm and stormed towards the steel door towards the end of the room. "WHOA, WHOA!!" Ricky cried. "Where are we going?!" "Shhh! Stay silent!" Aris pleaded, opening the door. "They've found us. The Army found us." Aris let go of Ricky's arm and closed the steel door and locked it. Ricky began to shake in fear. "Oh, no! Oh, no! Oh, no!" He cried quietly. "The Army found us! They're gonna take me to one of their concentration ca...!" "Take it easy!" Aris begged, turning around. "We just need to keep running, even to the edge of the Earth, to stay alive!" Ricky turned and looked around the room he and Aris are in. The room was slightly more smaller than the other one. It is a large hallway. "This way." Aris said, fast-walking ahead of Ricky, who began catching up to her. "Wait....up!" Ricky gasped, exhausted. "I don't wanna be.....Military food!" He caught up to Aris and made their way to the stairs at the end. They ran up the stairs and found another steel door. Aris opened the door and she and Ricky ran out without closing the door. They ran out of a small building and onto a bridge over a large canal. They stopped running and started walking. "How did they find us?!?" Ricky asked fearfully. "......Did they find a piece of your fur, Aris?" "I'm afraid they might have." Aris sighed. "They must've discovered my bunker and are burning everything in there." She stopped talking after that and, along with Ricky, continued walking. "Where are we going?" Ricky asked. "We're going back to the bunker." Aris said. "Our bunker is connected to many others. No one used any of them since the end of the War of the Unions. My family and I claimed ownership of the bunker. It had entrances everywhere, including our forest." My gosh..... Ricky thought. Is she serious...?! They stopped at another small building with a rusty door. "Is this the entrance?" Ricky asked. "Yes." Aris said softly, opening the metal door. "We are here. Room #2." She and Ricky walked down another set of stairs. "Aris, you're still not explaining how you know about my Grandparents' deaths!" Ricky snapped, frustrated. "And, you know who I am! Are you stalking me or not?!" "No..." Aris said softly. "And, the reason why I know about you....... I can't explain why." Ricky suddenly grabbed Aris' left arm. "Why not?!" He asked stressfully. "Why can't you say anything?! I just met you today! And, you're not TELLING me anything!" Aris stared at him in surprise. "You mustn't fear. I do not stalk." She said, more soft. "God would never want me to stalk. But, I can't tell you how I know your Grandparents yet." Ricky let go of her arm and they both continued walking. She's......not crazy, is she? Ricky thought, slightly confused. I don't understand...! She isn't telling me anything! Man....... When they arrived at the bottom floor, it is exactly the same as the gymnasium-sized room in the first room. "What?! Is this a replica of the other room we were in??!" Ricky asked, confused as ever. "No. This is a different room within the bunker." Aris responded politely. "We are in the second room." "My gosh...!" Ricky whispered in shock. "This place is huge. Which I should've expected since this was made to hide from a completely destructive war." Aris turned to face Ricky. "Indeed." She said, kindly smiling. "Such a safe environment this is indeed." ........ Ricky is completely speechless.
Meanwhile at room #1...
The Military burned every bed in the bunker with their flamethrowers while Colonel Martinson watched the destruction. This should prevent Aris from hiding out in here. He thought. Setting ablaze to every inch of this pathetic piece of garbage. Aris is a complete example of sedition. And, we will find her...
Meanwhile...
Ricky is sitting on one of the beds on the right side of the room. Man.... Aris is completely optimistic. He thought. And, I never even knew that animals could be Christians.... Wait, what?! "How are you doing?" Aris asked, sitting next to Ricky. "Oh, I'm doing fine." Ricky replied. "I'm just thinking...." Ricky didn't say anything else. "About what?" Aris asked softly. "It's okay. Tell me." "......No, everything's fine." Ricky said. "Forget about it!" Aris patted Ricky's shoulder, got up, and walked off. "Hey, Aris!" Ricky called out. "I.........I miss my Grandparents so much. They were unfairly executed by the Army which left me devastated for a long time! And, I'm homeless now..." Aris stared at him. Then, she put her paw on Ricky's shoulder. "You know God doesn't want to see you sad." She said. "You have the right to be angry at the U.M.F.U.. But, you must remember. It isn't God's fault that your Grandparents are gone. The U.M.F.U. is to blame for their hatred towards faith and joy." Ricky looked down. At least SHE cares. He thought. But, I hardly know her, yet she knows ME. What.....does all this......mean?
