Victor's PoV

"If this continues, you might..... 'Die.'"

 No, he's kidding. It must be! I looked at Yakov, he turn around trying not, to look at me. Yuri stared at me surprised and for a moment, I saw him worried. I turn my attention back to Dr. Katsuki. He looked more worried, than a bit earlier.

"Your joking right?" I said. "I hope not." He said. God, why does it have to be like this? I thought. "Is there a way to fix this?" I asked, hoping that there still hope. "Well, we could get treatments but, it will only for a short time. It will just help you prolong your life temporarily but, the pain and the other symptoms will still be there. Or, we could have a surgery, this way you'll have a new heart but, we need to find a donor first before doing this." He said, leaving me with only two options.

If I were to take the treatments it's just temporary but, if I were to have the surgery, I would wait for a donor. .... "How long would it take, before finding a donor?" I asked. "It depends on your match but, it would take years to find a match." He said. God, why me? Is this Karma, that everyone's talking about? It was hopeless, I was hopeless.

It was silent for a moment. No one talk, only pure silence. But, after a few moments someone put a hand on my shoulder and begun to speak.

"If you like, we could try now." Huh? I looked at the person and saw Dr. Katsuki. He gave me a soft smile, his hand rested on my shoulder as he began to speak, again. "If you like, we would start searching for a match right now. And while we were looking for your right match, I could help you to your treatment. I could assign one of the nurse here to be your personal caregiver, or would you like to pick one for yourself." He said.

"Is that okay?" Yakov said towards the doctor. "Of course, after all this is important, he's my patient so, he's life is important to me." ((*cough* Husband *cough*)) He said, smiling at me. " Besides I'm the one who suggested it but, it will still depend on your own decision. I don't want to force anyone." I looked at Yakov, giving me a 'it's your decision' look. "Well, I hope you made your decisions soon." He said. 

It was a hard time to think, I looked at him and clearly he was going to say something but, he didn't say it. It was silent for a moment but, the silence was soon to be broken by a knock at the door. I looked up to find a nurse peeking out of the door. 

Sorry to intrude but, Dr. Katsuki you have a call." The nurse said. "Well, excuse me it seems important so, I may take my leave." He said, as he was reaching out to the door he stopped and turn around. "I hope you'd make your decision. See you a bit later, Mr. Nikiforov," He sad as he completely left the room.

So what now? What should I do? I was lost in my thoughts, when I was caught off by Yuri. "So, what's your decision old man?" I didn't answer him. I was totally lost by the moment. 

"Could you two, leave me alone. I need to think." I said. The two didn't answer but, quickly left the room. I didn't know what to do but, I need to make a decision fast! Afterall time is ticking. I don't want this! I don't want to die yet! I want to live!
