Chapter seven

I woke up to the sound of my sister running up and down the hallway. I turned to my phone and it was only 7:30! Ohh hell no she's dead.

"MARIE!" I yelled. I heard her stop running and scream. I jumped out of bed and ran out through the door. she started to run down the stairs screaming for my mom.

"MOM SISYS TRYN' KILL ME!" Stupid nine year olds. She is such a pain!

"GET BACK HERE!" I took the stairs three at a time. I bolted across the living room to the kitchen where I finally stopped. Marie was hiding behind my mom and my mom was mixing what appeared to be pancake mix.

She gave me the "mom" look. "Delilah don't kill your sister!" Marie made an agreeing noise. "Now, Marie go watch TV, Delilah go back to sleep if you want." Marie skipped happily past me with her tongue out. I went back to my bed and fell asleep.

Four Hours Later

I woke up again at ten thirty. I reached for my phone just as I got a text from Keaton. I read:

Hey. wanna meet me at the pier at noon? :)

I replied
