Chapter Ten

Delilah's POV

I woke up the next day, Saturday. Today my friends came out to Cali! I haven't seen Elle and Katrena in months. I made a huge sign for their pick up at the airport that just has a picture of our favorite band. I'm pretty sure they will know it's for them. I put on a pair of denim shorts, a white tank top and some sunglasses and left for the airport.

Their plane arrived at 12:30. I was at the airport by 12:00. I hated flying in airplanes I hate when my ears pop so it was horrible for me. I sat and waited for them until I heard the announcement that flight 218 from Massachusetts had docked. I stood up and waited with my sign in the air. I saw them walking around looking lost. I found it very funny so I just stood there laughing waiting for them to notice me. Elle has never really been out of the state before. Only a few times when she was very little. Same goes for Katrena.

They started to come closer to me. They finally noticed me and started to run to me. When they got close they dropped their bags and we went into a group hug. I've missed my best friends. If only lucie was here. "I'm so glad you guys are here!"

"Oh My God!!! I can't believe we're finally here! the plane ride was pure TORTURE!" Elle exaggerated the "re" in torture. She has always been the drama queen. Katrena and I both laughed.

Katrena added "We've missed you so much! it's so boring with out your weirdness!"

"Oh shut up! you're just jealous I moved to California before you!" I was teasing her but it was partly true. we all wanted to move here together since we were Twelve.

The ride home was fun because I got to show them where and what everything is. When we got home my family said hello and hugged them. I brought them upstairs to my room. I had two extra beds for them to sleep on. There was a knock at my door. "Come in its open!" my mother opened the door.

"Umm Delilah Collins here."

"Okay thanks mom." she closed the door and left. Both Elle and Katrena looked at me a wiggled their eyebrows.

I looked at them "He's JUST A FRIEND! nothing more!" they made disapproving nosies. "Come on you still have to meet him!"

We walked down stairs and I introduced them. "So umm I don't mean to sound rude but why are you here?"

"Oh uh I just wanted to see if you wanted to catch a wave but I guess you're busy right now so maybe later?"

"Yeah sure talk to you later!" And Collin left. The three of us decided to go to Café. when we got there we all ordered a coffee than sat down. "Okay. THERES A GUY!"

"NO WAY! THERES A GUY!" They both said in unison.

"YES! THERES A GUY!" We did a little happy dance.

"Okay details young lady!" Elle said.

"Well his name is Keaton. We went on a date yesterday. He kissed me on the Ferris wheel. we met at a party. He has the most beautiful eyes, and his hair! OH.MY.GOD HIS HAIR!oh right he has a brother and a best friend that are also our age and single." I told them.

"Are they hot?" Katrena asked.

"Yes! they all are!" I replied. My phone beeped. It was a text from Keaton.

Hey wanna hang out tonight?

I replied

Do you have room for three? my friends are here from Massachusetts maybe your brother and friend?....

He responded

Of course see you at 8?

I looked up from my phone. "Well guys, we have plans tonight."
