After what happened in the coffee shop, collin left and I went surfing. I sat on my board with my back facing the shore. It was an unusually calm day. I inhaled the salty air and closed my eyes. In that moment I forgot everything, all the lies slipped away. A single thought stayed in my head, that single moment on the ferris wheel.

I opened my eyes and exhaled. I knew what I was going to do. I paddled into shore. I jogged up the beach and scooped my stuff up with one hand. I tossed my bag over my shoulder and skated away.

I stopped at my house and dried off. I didn't want to waste any time so I put on so ripped jean shorts and a pink billabong crop top over my swim suit. I pulled on a daisy print beanie and was back out the door.

I skated up to Keaton's house. I leaned my board against the house and knocked on the door. Wesley answered

"Oh hey Delilah! haven't seen you here In a few weeks what's up?"

I smiled. "Hey Wes, uh is Keaton home?"

He took a bite of the apple he had been eating. "Yeah he's right up stairs. go ahead you know where it's at."

"Thanks" I said as I passed Wes. I headed To the stairs. I took them two at a time I couldn't stop smiling. My heart was racing. I walked down the hallway and stopped at the second door on the right.

I Paused. I put my hand on the door knob. I built up my courage and opened the door. I was shell shocked by what I saw.
