The next morning I woke up with the sunlight in my eyes. Elle and Katrena were still sleeping. I grabbed my phone and checked Instagram. As I was scrolling through the pictures, I saw the selfie I took with Keats last night. that instantly put a smile on my face. As if on command I got a message from Keaton. I closed Instagram and clicked on "Messages". The text read:

Meet me at Java Joney in ten?

I replied:

Sure :)

I slowly got up and walked to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth did my hair all the good stuff. When I was done I walked back to my bedroom and started writing a note to E&K (Elle and Katrena) It was short but sweet. I didn't think they would mind if I left I mean we have been friends since the sixth grade. I told them were I was going and to not burn the house down while I was gone.

When I reached Java Joney Keaton was already at a table inside. I walked up to the counter, ordered my coffee, and then sat down next to Keaton. "Hey" I Took a sip of coffee.

He put his phone down. "Hey, what's up?"

"Oh not much just drinking coffee and talking to a hot guy." I said smiling flirtatiously.

"What a coincidence, because I just so happen to be talking to a beautiful girl" He kissed the top of my head. My heart started to pound. I've never really had a boyfriend let alone like anyone like this. I know I must sound crazy, I mean I've only known him for a few months, but I think I love him.

Keaton's POV

Delilah has been in an unreadable daze for about a minute now. I wish I could read her facial expressions.

"What are you thinking about?" I shifted my position so I could look her in the eyes.

She blinked and shook her head. "Nothing."

"Huh." I wish I could be inside her head. See what she's really thinking. She holds everything In sometimes I think she might explode.

"So do you wanna get out of here maybe..." I pulled the blanket and basket I had brought with me out from under the table. "...Go for a picnic?"

Her face lit up like the city at night. "YES! I can't believe this I'm so excited! lets go!" She jumped up grabbed my hand and bee lined it to the door.

She stopped suddenly. "Wait... how are we going to get to the park it's like ten miles away."

I grinned. "Let's get one of these." I flagged down one of those Bikes with the two person cart on the back. When it pulled up, I bowed to Delilah and said "You chariot Awaits." I grabbed her hand, kissed it then helped her in. She was smiling ear to ear.

We pulled up to the park I got out first and helped Delilah out. She hadn't stopped smiling! I paid the biker and started to guide Delilah to a special spot I had picked out for the picnic.

I walked her to the far end of the park and into the woods.

"Umm Keaton where are we going the parks back that way." She gave me a puzzled look.

I smiled. "Don't worry I know where I'm going."

We walked about an eighth of a mile until we reached the spot. It was this Beautiful cove surrounded with weeping willow trees, a white sand beach and a water fall that covered the front of the cave. The water was a Light sapphire blue accented by the sun.

Delilah's mouth opened in shock and she ran to the water. She walked in up to her knees and splashed around a bit. When she was done admiring the scenery, I was finished setting out the picnic things. She walked up to the blanket I had laid out and laid down next to me.

She rolled over on her side so her head was supported by her elbow. "This place is incredible. How'd you even find it?"

I turned my head to her. "Well a few years back, Wes and I where out here playing soccer and I kicked the ball into the woods. We never found our ball but we found this place instead. We call it "The Puddle" it's kinda a close friends a and family thing."

She took a moment to absorb the information. "Then I am honored you would take me here to see it."

I smiled at her. "There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you." Wow that came on strong I just couldn't stop the constant flow of words. There's something about her. Makes you feel like you could drown and burn up at the same time. I love her.
