"We have to do your hair! Oh, and get the dress, Zaiden. It's in the closet." Zaiden was the backup for Aunt Erika. Uncle Fred was helping Dalton. No doubt they were already ready. "I can't believe you're getting married." CJ says. "I always thought- and hoped- that I would get married before you." CJ had also helped Dalton out. He must be ready. "I'm making my husband wait!" "Ah, he's not your husband yet. And let him wait, that's the best part. They'll wait for you." Erika says, smiling. CJ gives Zaiden a look, then smiles. "So...you're all vampires?" He asks uncomfortably. "CJ." I warn. "Yeah, we are. Don't worry. We won't attack you." Zaiden laughs. "Uh-huh." "Remember, you liked these guys, right, CJ?" I asked. "Of course. It's just...knowing any one of you, even my sister, could bite me-" "We won't." I tell CJ. He laughs nervously. "Ok." "Alright, your hair is ready." Erika says. "Wow! That was fast!" She laughs. "Vampire speed, remember?" I nod. "Right." "Now for the dress." The guys tense up. "Ok, so while you're changing, we're just gonna-" CJ says as he and Zaiden run out at almost the same speed. I laughed with Aunt Erika.

CJ was the one who walked me down the aisle. I thought I was going to trip, but miraculously, I didn't. "Too bad Mom and Dad can't see this." CJ whispers before we get to the crowd of people starting to stand around the corner. Dalton and I were having an outdoor wedding, and Aunt Erika had put clear borders so I wouldn't accidentally miss the turn and just keep walking in the park. "I know. But I'm happy you're here." "Well, I only am because you told me your secret. And you forced me into coming." I smile up at his smirking face. "You sure you don't want to be a vampire? Then I'd never lose you." He smiles. "It's more natural to lose people than never die." He says. I turn back to the aisle.

That's when I saw Dalton, looking all spiffy in his tuxedo. I made sure to just look at him, as Erika had said she did with Fred. CJ puts my hand in Dalton's, then sits with the other five people. I noticed that the king and queen had come along with their son Isaac. It honestly surprised me to see them here.

Dalton and I said our vows, and officially became husband and wife. It sent chills down my spine when Dalton called me 'Mrs. Wilde'. I never thought I'd be a Mrs. this soon, let alone Mrs. Wilde.

As Dalton and I shared our first dance, I couldn't help feeling sad. "What's the matter?" He asks. "I wish my folks were here. I wish Ruben was here. I wish Carli was here-" Dalton interrupts me. "They're all right here." He points to my heart. I smiled and sighed. "Beautiful wedding." A voice says behind us. "Sorry for interrupting." Isaac says. "It's fine." Dalton spins me into Isaac's unexpecting arms. He winks and leaves us to it. Isaac looks me in the eyes. "Um...I wasn't expecting us to come." I nod. "Yeah, I wasn't expecting you either. But it's cool, really. It's kind of a pitiful turnout, but, hey, it was still perfect to me." Isaac smiles at me. "I'm still sorry about Sal. And Christopher, for that matter." I said. He nods. His eyes show sadness. "Yeah, I'm sorry too. I heard about Ruben. We all really liked him." My heart sinks. "He was great. So was Sal." Isaac nodded. "Christopher...was just a little misunderstood." He continues. "He really wasn't as bad as he seemed. He and Ruben certainly got along. At least, until...you know." Oh right. Christopher was the one who blinded Ruben. "Well, thank you for coming."

Suddenly, in place of Isaac, is CJ. "Oh, you again." I sighed. "See? You're already tired of me. I could never be immortal around you." I laugh. "I'm just kidding." We dance around as Erika and Dalton dance to our side. "What a lovely wedding, you two." "Thanks, Aunt Erika." Dalton and I say at the same time. CJ rolls his eyes. "You two... it's like you were meant for each other." He says. I smiled. "Thanks. I certainly think so." "Brr! You're so cold, Vanessa." CJ lets go of me. "Sorry! No one here to help you warm up!" I laugh at my brother. "My turn?" Zaiden grabs me and we dance around in circles.

"It's so nice to have everyone here." I say. "Well, the ones who could come." I finished. He nodded. "It really was a great wedding. I am honored to call you my sister." I smiled, and blushed a little. Can vampires blush? 'Cause I definitely was. "Have I ever thanked you for attacking me that night?" I asked. Zaiden smirks. "Because, as crazy as it may seem, I really am grateful. If you hadn't, I wouldn't be here. I'd never have meet you or Ruben, or Dalton, and would be stuck as a fragile, limited time human like my stupid brother." "You may have better hearing than I now, but that doesn't mean I can't hear at all." CJ says. Zaiden and I laugh. "Well...you're welcome." I smiled. "And you know Zaiden, I'm the one who should be honored to have you as my new brother. Not replacement brother," I call, more toward CJ, "but additional." He smiles.

Suddenly, the whole party seems to darken. I lift my nose. Is that...fire? It must just be me, since no one else seems to notice. I shrug it off and continue enjoying my evening with my new forever family.
